I would say do cardio after weights.

If you do weights after cardio, you might notice you're too fatigued to perform as well as you could on the weights, which might hinder the muscle growth you're trying to achieve.

Does using this button erase everything you've eaten in the past few days or just make the current day the beginning of the week?

I've done it as I am now back at uni so I want it to start properly.

But it keeps everything else from what it seems, just moves the day 1 to now.

You should eat breakfast.  It jumpstarts your metabolism....berries, oats anything like that is good.  Exercise should be done in the morning also...it also jumpstarts the metabolism.

I don't think there is any evidence of either of those things.  All of the breakfast promotions are based on studies paid for by the cereal industry, and they are all observational studies.  There are too many variables to say anything conclusive about breakfast.  Breakfast doesn't jump start your metabolism.  Waking up does.

However there is evidence that the optimal time to exercise is when our bodies are coolest, 4-5PM, strength is greater in the afternoon, and endurance is greater in the afternoon.  Morning exercisers are more likely to keep to their workout schedule, so that is an advantage.  I chose to workout in the morning, but there's nothing to suggest that it is scientifically advantageous.

I can confirm this 4-5PM thing is true.

We ran experiments at uni with the sports teams, we controlled there workout times, but let them eat there usual diet, get there usual sleep, everything. For one week they worked out in the morning (10am), for the next they worked out in the afternoon (4pm) and the final week in the evening (8pm). They actually showed higher levels of performance in the afternoon than the other two, with their workout failure rep being higher than the other two times of day.

So if you are to do weights and high intensity workouts, then definitely do it in the afternoon!
