Woah, you are not eating enough calories for your body, even to loose weight. >.<

No wonder you're finally cracking and starving!

Use the tools on this site to figure out how much you should be eating and then up your calories...otherwise you're just going to keep feeling empty. ):

I would stop adding in any extra activities, as it sounds like it's just making things more confusing. Pick your activity level, and leave it at that. Check what your burn meter says then, and -500.

Weight Loss Is a 2300 Calorie Difference to much? Jul 03 2009

That is quite a big difference. How did you come up with 3200 calories burn? What activity do you set it to? If you set it to moderate/lightly active then that accounts for those 800 calories burned at the gym already.

Weight Loss How do I get enough calories with food allergies? Jun 30 2009

Buy rice bread, it is about 200 calories for 2 pieces and they are small pieces, it is quite calorie dense, and spread with avocado. This should bump up your calorie intake a fair bit, at least enough to keep you out of starvation ranges. xx

In order to control the calories of the food you get in resturants order anything savory with no cheese, and sauces on the side. It's annoying to ask, but remember that a lot of people do these things...and they should be able to do it. It won't make everything low-cal of course but it will def. reduce the amount by a bit!

Weight Loss I despised exercising! Jun 30 2009

Sometimes I hate working out, and sometimes I have fun...the only cardio I really enjoy is the treadmill running so I subbed the cross-trainer and bicycle for longer running sessions + uphill power walking. I figure that it's better to change my programme myself than avoid going to the gym because I hate a certain machine!

Health & Support Some can recover and some can't? Jun 30 2009

I believe that everyone can recover.

I remember how every day I made my food choices, how every day I recorded my weights and goals, quite conscious of what I was doing. I could have chosen not to do all those things just as anyone could.

I'm sorry but I do believe I did it to myself. o.O I am, however, recovered. I don't want to go back there because I don't want to ruin and disrupt the friendships and relationships I have now & that's what an ED does!

That would be about 3 hours RUNNING, I really doubt you burn that much on the treadmill...

You should use the tools on this website to figure out what you burn daily.

How much are you trying to eat during the day?

I used to suffer from anorexia, with chronic binging because I was starving myself. I haven't binged in over a year which is great, but only because I addressed the way I was eating.

Not All Processed Foods Are Created Equal
Fact: a diet containing whole, fresh fruits and vegetables is one of the best for a healthy mind and body. Although true, it can be hard to keep food fresh at home for longer periods of time, and if you have no time to shop every few days, boxed and canned foods become appealing. We often hear about heavily processed frozen dinners and processed foods worth avoiding, but there are minimally processed foods that do pack a lot of nutrition and may be worth having in the fridge or cupboard.
