sara- my legs are totally sore from cleaning. pretty awesome actually, except my back hurts too.

did some lifting at the gym this morning before work and have had protein but i am hungry again. don't think i will make it to lunch.

chrissy- things are going well. how are you doing?

sara- i thought i was following you on insta already.. did you get a new account? i think it's good to take a break from this site periodically. i LOVE the veggies/fruit smoothies they totally make me regular! way to go on the workouts.

i have been keeping up with workouts and healthy eating. i did morning workouts during the week, then a hard interval run on saturday, and then i vigorously cleaned my apt for 4+ hours on sunday including 5 loads of laundry up and down a flight of stairs. i enjoyed a piece of strawberry shortcake on saturday for my niece's bday party, and then a chocolate cookie and some ice cream on mother's day. both were delicious and worth it. i haven't weighed myself in a long time. i feel like it might just discourage me at this point. so i am going to get to a place where i fit comfortably into my clothes and then see where i am at.

hi girls, hope you are both doing well. i know we are all busy and it's sometimes good to take a break from CC.

so i have begun what i am calling operation: no excuses, which is basically me getting my ish together and getting my work outs in no matter what. even if i have finals in a couple of weeks. i am doing a combo of new rules of lifting and whatever i can fit in on other days. i miss feeling strong like i did when i did solid weight workouts. i am also watching what i eat too. it's tought, but i feel like it's crunch time now because it's gone on too long and i want to fit back into my clothes!!! talk to you ladies soon.

chrissy- i feel you. sometimes it seems impossible to be consistent! keep at it girl.

cals were in check yesterday and actually on the low side due to how much i ate the day/night before. didn't make it to the gym this morning unfortunately though. i need to go tomorrow for sure.

chrissy- went to vegas for fun because i had never been.

vegas was a crazy time. back to reality and back to counting and trying to slim back down to my 'normal' size so i can feel more comfortable in the my body. Math test on wednesday so i have to balance studying and gym time in. hope you two had a great weekend.

Hi Ladies, i know we are all busy these next few weeks but here is my update.

i am going to vegas this weekend so i am a little extra motivated to get my workouts in. i have been getting up and going to the gym in the morning and counting calories, but more importantly eating healthier. hope you are both doing well.

sara- there is no way i can workout when i am hung over. i would just focus on eating healthy because i can sometimes win the battle. haha. it's good to go have some fun.

hi ladies. i have been able to get to the gym in the mornings and it feels great. eats have been pretty good and within range. i am SUPER busy as usual, but i am hoping to just keep being positive and go with the flow instead of stressing out about the little stuff.

chrissy- woohoo for baby making! you will get there when the time is right.

sara- that sounds tasty, yeah i will likely sign up for a couple classes if i can't get it together on my own at my gym.

last night i ate too much because i was studying. today i am determined to stay within range. this morning i had coffee with half and half and a green smoothie with vanilla whey. so far so good. also, since i am taking a test in class, i will get to the gym tonight! i am going to wear my gym clothes to my test then go straight there. if i am lucky i will make it to 630 spin.

chrissy- i am so sorry for your struggles! that sounds really frustrating. keep hanging in there though. i think things will work out.

sara- how was your friday workout? i found a crossfit near my apt so i might hit that up once school is over. we will see though.

well my eats weren't very good this weekend. not too bad sunday though at least and i didn't get drunk so i got a lot of studying done. still no gym though. really struggling with that. i have a math quiz tonight, then i have to study for my psych test tomorrow. 5 more weeks yay!

good morning ladies. once again i managed not to overeat last night. YAY. it feels so good not to be too full all the time and my bm's are better too. i was feeling a bit stressed because i have a lot of studying to do this weekend as well as two close friends' birthday celebrations so i decided to take a half day today at work and i am so relieved! this morning i had greek yogurt with quinoa, peanut butter and stevia, coffee with half and half only, and i just had a fruit and veggie smoothie. i have a lot of energy and i feel great. i am going straight to the gym after work, then going home to study study study. then it is bday surprise party/dinner at a new restaurant in town called 7. i think it's comfort food, but the menu isn't online so i can't pre-log. we will see what happens i guess, should be really fun!

sara- your dinner sounds so great! the smoothies are awesome out of all those things the mint is what takes it to the next level so i highly recommend buying mint.

ending yesterday at 1800 cals. not bad considering i got home from math and wanted to stuff my face. i had some left over shrimp pasta, two string cheeses and then since i still wasn't satisfied, i made some almond milk with stevia, vanilla and cinnamon. i was definitely full after that.

this morning i have had a small bowl of kashi go lean with almond milk, and i am soon to have some coffee with soymilk.

sara- funny you say that because i am drinking a veggie smoothie right now. it contains: lemon, orange, carrot, kale, spinach, parsley, mint, ginger, cucumber, orange juice, aloe juice, plant protein, frozen peaches, frozen banana, frozen blueberries and ice. it turned out great! good luck to you. i don't know if i could do that because i tend to drink smoothies too fast.

chrissy- that is great. i am also counting today and going for a deficit, and trying to be more active in general (ie, running up the stairs, walking around etc.) tomorrow is my gym day. YAY!

woohoo i managed to not overeat yesterday go me! here we go day two.

sara- those macarons don't sound like too much but i know when i go out to eat it all seems like way more than the normal portions we make at home. i bought light coconut milk so i can make something like those quinoa burgers. can't get them out of my head. i will probably skip the pineapple though.

chrissy- how was your day yesterday? one day at a time is very important for me, at least at the beginning.

chrissy- i am with you. today i am not going to overeat! even if it's just for today. i know i can not overeat for ONE day. and i know it only takes one day to make the next days that much easier. we can do it!

finished with house sitting. back to reality. i am really trying to stay on top of my school work so that i can get workouts in. now that it is light in the morning i am going to try to workout even if it's a 30min run in the AM. my BF is going to TJs today and i am having him get my old calorie count staples. greek yogurt in individual cups, string cheese, ground turkey, cereal, almond milk etc. gotta rely on my old staples and make a schedule so i can feel my very best. even if i don't lose a bunch of weight right away; i know i will feel better if i am on track eating wise and at least getting some activity in. my legs are craving a run today. i will probably have to wait till tomorrow morning.

breakfast was plain oats with raisins, coffee with 1 cup organic soymilk. no added sugar yay!

chrissy- hope you had fun with your girlfriend. buffets and all-you-can-eats are danger zones for me because i like to get my money's worth! things are going alright. i am just wearing looser clothing and trying not to stress it. i know that i have to tools to get to where i need to be. i made spaghetti with meat sauce on friday because the teenager had two of his friends sleep over. i also made chicken vegetable soup (a particularly good batch), and last night i made lemony pasta with shrimp, asparagus and artichoke hears (SO BOMB). needless to say i am set on meals for the beginning of this week.

sara- i freakin love kale chips. how do you make them? i use olive oil, lemon juice and a touch of salt and bake at 325 until they are the crispy enough or about 15min. this kitchen is stocked, but i can tell that they never actually cook haha.

so far i have had a banana with 1 TBSP of PB and coffee with honey and half and half. i forgot to grab my leftovers from the house to eat for lunch GRRRR oh well. i think i need to try to detox myself from sugar. i feel a little bit addicted. guess i should have skipped the honey in my coffee this morning. doh!

sara- thank you for the support, i needed it. even though in the back of my head i know that it doesn't matter in the long run. your words still helped. yay for an easy workout. sounds like so much darn fun. i am just dying to free up my schedule. i think i need to remember feeling this way so that i don't schedule too much again!

i had some chocolate milk and a half a (big) cookie at lunch then some kale chips... literally an entire bunch of kale. then i just had a smoothie with orange juice, aloe juice, frozen fruit, spinach, kale, celery leaves and a bit of plant protein. tasty and hopefully helps with my afternoon sweet-tooth. i am house/dog/teenager sitting this week so i get to go to this huge house after work and cook in a super nice kitchen. the mom said that the kitchen is fully stocked so i am excited to see what i have to work with!

sara- you will get there and some days you will be stronger than other days.

well i am totally out of control with my eating. it's almost painful. i know it is a direct result from not getting workouts in and stress from school. i cannot wait for this semester to be over and to have my free time after work to devote to workouts. i really overextended myself. i totally bombed this past math test because i didn't have enough time to study, and i just hope that everyone else did just as bad or worse than i did. this morning i have had a scone and a coffee and some frosting from a cupcake cause that's where i am at right now. geez. i am helping my friend take care of her parent's household for the next few days, so hopefully a change in environment with help.
