I do believe the dick drawing context has to be taken into consideration.  Some dick drawing funny, -restaurant at other co-workers -  hilarious.  Band class in school,  ok also  hilarious!  Where would this be not-so- funny - church, a wedding (still funny) hmmm

Thanks everyone - I got some valuable feedback that made me think.  I believe it's my husband that is more adamant about "picking a team" and possibly less open minded than he wants to believe.  My nephew is 14.  His father (my bro) died in a car accident almost 9 yrs ago.  His mother distanced herself from our family (now I know why).  A few months ago children's services called and he was in foster care due to abuse, neglect and abandonment.  He's been the round of counselors and says he wants nothing more to do with it.   I think I will just relax - and yes I forgot about the movie where the kid was obsessed with pen*s and drawing them all the time.  Didn't seem so weird in the movie.  Good advice

Bright - I support you!  Your art, whatever form will be beautiful. I love art and live in an artist community (have several artist friends)  I always thought it would be a tough thing to do because I have to be inspired to create.  So you need a muse....some inspiration.  Failure is not in our vocabulary!   I agree with Jane, just start and it will happen.

Holy Canolli  - I just noticed that baby back ribs at Chili's are almost 1400 calories.  Yikes.  I always thought that was rather safe since it would be somewhat lower carbs.  The buffalo chicken salad is almost 900.  Cream of wheat! (my new swear)...I want to eat out tonight with the hubby and I thought about Chili's but I don't want to eat carrot sticks.  Jeez, Calorie Count has been a real eye opener for me.   I am eating salad and low on fiber, over on sodium.  I thought I was eating rather healthy so this has been good for me.

You might check out the book Wheat Belly by William Davis.  My daughter and husband have both recently lost 35 pounds, and are still losing, by giving up wheat. They have replaced wheat with single ingredient foods (nuts, fruit, vegetables, meat, etc.) Once you learn what geneticists have done to wheat, you won't want to eat it. Wheat was re-engineered in the 1970s to increase yield.  The "new" wheat, which we all have been eating since the early 1980s, causes an increase in appetite, because of the gliadin in it. No human testing was done with the new wheat.  After reading the book, I put my husband on a wheat-free diet to see if his triglyceride levels would come down.  For the first time, his triglyceride levels were in the normal range (138), after being in the high-risk range (anywhere from 400-1100).   

Good to know.  I never thought of triglycerides.  I'm going to read the book myself and see if I can get my hubby's tri...down

C'mon you guys - where did we get off on a tangent of marrying dogs.  Did you not get the "butt" pun here.  There's no "but" in love - he's gay, .....read between the lines.  There's no dog marrying here, just some good old fashioned sodo*y.  (not that there's anything wrong with that to be politically correct.)

Stop Saturday delivery and run it like a business model - they may have to lay some people off, but it is better than everyone loosing their job.  Also, their pensions are high - higher than most and that needs a makeover.  I don't know enough about their pensions to say what reform, however my uncle was raking it in from his USPS pension, better than the army and law enforcement.
