P90X isn't really for weight loss, per se. I'm in my 3rd week and I haven't lost any weight - in fact, my weight has stabalized and I'm now essentially the same every morning rather than varying slightly from day to day. But I do feel like I'm building significant amounts of muscle. From what I've read, the majority of the body change people experience is designed to come in the 3rd month of the program. If you do try it, stick with it! I know people who have experienced a lot of success on it! |

You should try www.celiac.com. They have forums and discussions on almost any imaginable gluten/celiac related topic. There are also quite a few posters on it with other dietary issues, like fructose intolerance, dairy free, etc. Very helpful site! |

I spend quite a bit of money on my healthy eating - probably more than I should, but I'm also gluten free due to celiac disease, so that influences things. That said, I feel like I'm saving lot of money down the road with my healthy eating and gym membership. Hopefully the money I spend today will mean that I won't be paying for weight loss surgery, insulin injections, and cholestoral and blood pressure meds anytime soon. I'd rather spend $300 - $400 a month to be healthy now than have to scrape up money for all those things in 20 years! |
