I'm Kelly, and almost 22 year old.
I used to be VERY skinny - about 125lbs. I then graduated high school, moved out, and my lifestyle changed to a very lazy one. When I met my husband I weighed about 165, but it was mostly curves and not actual fat. We got married, and I got pregnant very shortly thereafter. I gained about 40lbs. with the pregnancy, and lost it pretty quickly due to breastfeeding and a healthy diet while doing so.
I stopped breastfeeding but maintained my weight. My husband was gone at the time (USMC) so it was easy for me to diet and exercise, and not worry about cooking or spending time with him. I was back down to the weight I was when I met him when he came home - but then I started cooking, stopped working out, and gained weight.
We moved overseas recently and I've gotten pretty lazy. The heat doesn't help. So I'm up to 197lbs. and my goal is to at LEAST get back to 165. After that, I'd love to weigh 140. I have realistic goals, considering the fact that my hips are wider and there are just some parts that will never be the same again :)
I also currently wear a size 16 in pants etc., and XL in shirts. I would like to be back to a 12, a 10 if I'm lucky, and wear M/L shirts.
Now our daughter is almost 2, and I get so tired chasing her around - I shouldn't! I'm only 21 right now! This is the biggest reason for finally biting the bullet and trying to lose weight for real.
I have the support of my husband through this, and I truly hope to lose this weight and feel healthy again!
