My name is Laura
I started CC after visiting my doctor over Spring Break and she told me I really needed to start counting my calories because my weight and body fat % were way too high. I knew I wouldn't sit down and write all the calories all out so I searched online and found CC. and so far I Love it!

I have gone from my max. this year of 149 to my current 131, and although I am not at my goal or my Tanita Body Comp. reccommended weight, I am a lot happier with myself!
College isn't an excuse but it def. did add to my weight gain. The sad thing is, that my freshmen 15 didn't hit me till later on, and it wasn't from additional drinking! It was because the food on campus sucked, we would walk all over town just to find cheap food to eat, which usually meant fast food. I love fast food don't get me wrong, but I needed to get control of my body. In addition to eating more fast food than before, even though I ate a lot in HS too, I was not working out like I had been in the past. In HS I played sports so I had practice everyday for about 3 hours, and even thought I didn't realize how many calories I was burning or how much exercise I was really getting, I sure learned fast when I stopped having those after school sports when I entered college.

So, that's a little background on me.
My pictures are one from just before I started on calorie count, and one from just a few weeks ago, the date of my first goal date. Even though I didn't reach my goal yet, like I wanted, since I hit that awful thing known as a plateau, I am still working towards it and keeping myself on a healthy track from now own.

***Now, for my goals and stuff...

 

Goal 1: Reach my goal weight of 120lbs by my 21st birthday (October 10th)
Goal 2: Feel comfortable and confident with my body.
Goal 3: Feel happy in a bikini
Goal 4: Keep the weight off (esp. during holiday seasons!)

I would love to talk to people on here who have any tips for me on dieting and good toning exercises, esp. for love handles and stomach area! I know you can't spot train but I just need some tips on how to build my flab into muscles! I also would like to chat with people who have a similar body type/ CC journey as me! so feel free to send me a message or add me!

 

 

Basically, I am back on here after almost a year off. I gained over 20lbs after starting up birth control. Now, I just stopped taking it (after being on it and working out 4x a week after work)  and am hoping to get back to my size last year. Mainly because I can't afford new clothes and it is depressing that I gained so much weight after trying so hard last year to lose all that weight! anyways I really need some motivation to hope that it is POSSIBLE to get back down to at least 133lbs!!! I am now 21 lbs heavier than I was last year at my birthday :( and I never even reached the original goal weight my doctor had for me of 122lbs. Now the doctor is saying I should get to 147 lbs, I am so confused. But I was happy at 133 lbs so please, help motivate me!
