Health & Support Eating a lot but REALLY hungry, is this normal? May 27 2007

I did *wonder* if I was somehow pregnant...but that would require either an immaculate conception or my ex-gf being a freak of nature. Heh. So definitely not that.

I've been drinking a lot more coffee lately and was thinking maybe that's somehow hyped up my metabolism. It's just odd. I mean, feeling a little peckish, sure, but practically blacking out from hunger? That's a bit whoa.

Maybe...I've just turned into one of those annoying people who can eat anything and everything.

Dork question: which are complex carbs, which are simple?

...stuffing? :D

Just a generic stuffing, I have no idea. Dairy-free, I know that much. Whatever normal stuffing is, isn't it like breadcrumbs and herbs or something? I don't eat it ;)

I work in a deli in a supermarket and we sell rotisserie chickens.

They're just whole, raw, stuffed chooks with nothing added to them (aside from the stuffing) when they go in the oven. They're on wracks not in trays so they're not sitting in juices or anything, we don't baste them, they just go in the oven, cook, and then come out.

I reckon the chickens from the top wrack would be the best option since they don't have other chickens dripping on them ;)

But buying skinless chicken and steaming/grilling it has GOT to be the better option!

NEVER get it in syrup. Only in natural juices. My tin of pineapple says Ingredients: pineapple.

(I have no idea why my mother always gets tins of pineapple because we always have the real thing...I guess it's easier!)

Dijonnaise :) I love my carrot/celery/cucumber sticks with some dijonnaise for dipping. 80cals/100g and one serve is probably only 10-15g!

" (I actually started running, even if it's just a million times around the house, lol)"

I sometimes do that with my puppy, I chase him until he runs outside, spoilsport :P

Running is fun...I can't believe I'm even saying that. At high school I was strictly a walker...I ran for the train, that was it! I was the one who took over an hour to do one of our bush runs because I walked it all! I really wish I could go back there now and help lead the pack. Or, well, not LEAD, but be in the first few batches, I reckon.

Yeah, add me to the list of people who are too short for petite length :( Or, you know what's worse? When there ISN'T petite. One style I loved in AE *only* came in regular, so I had to get regular - which luckily aren't too long, for a change. But once, I was in Gap, and for the style I liked, they had 0-18 reg but in short length, only 4-18. WHAT?! I couldn't understand that logic at all. I mean, wouldn't you think 0-2 are the ones more likely to need a shorter leg?!

Wow, lunamagae, you're right, that's so weird...ohnoes, what if I have turned into one of those annoying people who can eat junk and not gain??!! Although I think it's because if I eat junk I freak out and run around like a headless chook the next day and stuff.

Sorry to see you go, ellybell :( Good luck!

Aww, 23? Heck, you probably burned that off putting the wrapper in the bin :)

Yesterday, I saw easter eggs on sale and got a Mars egg for 24 cents. 108 calories. Now THERE was a mistake. But it tasted yummy. And the others on sale were 210 calories, and not much bigger. HOW? The mind boggles.

Cottee's cordial. I live on it. The low-kilojoule stuff is awesome. And their jam, as has been mentioned. I almost cried when I saw it and checked the label. I'd been using IXL lite jam before. And cottee's diet jelly :D I don't work for cottee's, honest ;)

Kraft singles have an extra light variety. There is light laughing cow cheese as well. ~30 cal a serve for both, and one serve goes a long way :)

We also have some excellent yoghurts. Yoplait no fat is 100 cal for the tub (which is 200g, 2 serves) and nestle diet is 80 cal (again, 2 serves).
