Thank you for that. The one you went to in Wellington, what was it like? I have tried to do this outside for over 1.5 years and to no avail. I just want to be able to fully commit but I keep trying and failing. |

I really do think it is food and water. You said you don't look different, that shows you! Regardless though you will begin to look different in time, not in a week in many many weeks and you have to know that it is a good thing ok! I think how your body has reacted before is most likely how it will react this time. Mine definitely has. You said you feel so much better please keep reminding yourself of that fact. That is the most important piece of information to hold on to. |

| First thing first... Do not give up!!! It is time to end this battle! You are such an amazing person and have so much to offer. Do not let this eating disorder pull you down for any longer! Now let's think about this logically you were purging 50 times a day and would have been so dehydrated! I would say most if not all is water. Water that you can not see. I don't know how it works but you have have gained some of it that will stay but it will all e internal hydration nothing that is actually visable. Yes also a lot will be food. So no it won't be an actual gain in a 'fat' physical sense. If your body reacted this way last time it is most probably going to happen the same this time. But you won't know until you try and please do try because you deserve so much to live a happy, fulfilling life free of this disease! Please, please be strong! Xx | |||

Awesome thanks! I feel like I need to up my protein hence the eggs at b/f thing... maybe if I have a big bowl of muesli with yogurt and add hash browns to my eggs on toast? The drink things sound like a good idea... anywhere I can get cals in haha. I am going to do some smoothie scouting tomorrow haha. Is it at all possible to have a high cal dinner without pasta, rice or bread? It's not that I don't want to eat these things I just get bored haha. Ironic seeing as I have been eating the same thing everyday for so long! |

Would it be possible for someone to come up with some really high calories breakfasts? I know I can make porridge high cal but some other alternatives?? Like how can I make eggs high cal? Also some easy high cal dinners? Lunch seems to be fine but first thing in the morning and after work at night I am so tired I can't think haha. So some meals which are really easy to make (especially for dinner). |

| Thank you ginger :) I agree as a dancer carbs are important anyway! It is true I don't want to start this with silly ideas in my head about what I should and shouldn't eat I just need to eat! Tim tams! I completely forgot about them :) very good idea as are the hot cross buns :) I might stick up on some Easter eggs too seeing as they only come once a year! Thank you again! | |||

Adding fat really? I really am not so concerned with what I build at the moment I just need to get my weight up. I am a dancer so if I do build fat it will very quickly be built into muscle as I have always been someone who tones very easily. But thank you for your suggestions. I wil definitely add some nuts easy to eat and not much bulk :) |

Thank you! Most of that I can definitely manage... the reason for the many coffees is 1. because I actually really like the taste, but also 2. because otherwise I can't get through the day :/ I must say they are a step up from the copious amounts of black coffee I was drinking! Should I put butter on the scone? I could manage cereal but all I have is bran haha so would the toast be better until I get something else? |

Number one: You should be eating that on a day to day basis in order to recover. Two: That 'weight gain' is water it is not possible to gain that amount in that period of time. You won't have gained any actual weight especially after only eating more for 2 days! Three: You need to gain weight and get your life back!! |

It is a hard one. The thing is regardless of where it goes you could gain a few pounds most probably without anyone but yourself being able to notice. I think that is what we forget a gain of 5 lbs to everyone else is not noticeable. People who don't weigh themselves regularly could gain and lose that in a month and no one would ever know! So maybe you should just take the plunge and assess how you feel on a weekly basis? If you do feel that you look to thin a lot of the time I feel as though you have answered your own question :) It is just having the strength to take the plunge and deal with what happens when it happens! |

| Just a thought... Would it be possible to just up it to 2500 and after a few weeks see how you feel? If the gain is slow you could maybe see where the gain is likely to go? It might just make you feel a little less apprehensive about it. On another note you're only 16 right? There is still plenty of time for but/boobs to florish :) my sister was just average sized and then she got to 18 and bam boobs and bum :) I have never had either but I think that is due to my dancing. She however has taken right after my mum who was very much the same. Did your mum develop slightly later or anything? It could give you an idea about whether you are likely to gain there or not :) | |||

Hey! I'm a professional ballet dancer :) The thing I used to do for centre splits was lying on my back with my legs against a wall, putting an ankle weight on each ankle and letting them flop down into splits. I stayed for 20 mins a day and noticed huge improvements! |
