UPDATE:  Well, I have finally found the motivation to get into the gym.  It's called wearing a wedding dress and have 200+ people stare at you as you come down the aisle.  Not to mention a honeymoon in Hawaii.  Talk about motivation!!

I'm working my way down to hopefully 108.  In truth, I really just want to shed fat, gain muscle and tone up all over.  I'd like to fit into my old clothes again, feel good about myself, etc.

SEVEN POUNDS DOWN...18 1/2 weeks to go.  Can I reach my goals in time?  I'm sure as heck going to try!!!

For the great majority of my life, I have been petite and muscular. All my friends would even call me little lis. My weight fluctuated a bit in college, but I never weighed more than 115.

All that changed a couple years out of college, upon entering the real world. Working 80 hours a week and traveling frequently for a highly stressful job wrecked havoc on my physical and emotional state. I have steadily gained weight for the past two years, until March 2007, when I weighed in at 146, mind you I'm a 5'2" petite-framed person. I felt miserable and decided shortly after my father passed away from heart disease, that I would become a healthy, active person again. I cut out soda, sugar, fast food and the like. I lost 26 pounds in four months. The problem is, I couldn't motivate myself to get back into the gym. The healthy eating has been going well, I really prefer it, but if I want to get back down to my goal weight of 108, I need to start exercizing. and PRONTO. I used to love it. i just need a kick start to get my butt in gear.
