You do actually bloat a bit when it gets hot out. Your probably eating more salt or drinking more water to make up for the fact that "hey, its really humid out! I need to survive!" |

| Besides what everyone else said with undereatting (typical female mental trait I swear), try doing short hiit cardio. When I couldn't run for 2 months I did p90x and hiit with insanity and eventually jump rope tabata. It at least kept the body fat down. | |||

| I hate to break it to you but "elite" athletes tend to weigh more then they look regardless of the sport. Those underweight and skinnyfat from low cal diets tend to burnout. I competed for distance running for D1 and I saw a whole range of this. | |||

Please state your stats Height: 5'2.75 o_o Current weight: 120 Goal weight: 110 Current size & Goal size: current: 4 goal: 2 or 0, but preferably 2 Diet & Exercise regime: Backed off on my carbs and increased protein. Try to stick inbetween 1300 (BMR) and 1800. Recently got injured during a 20 mile training run for a marathon (who knew 10 miles on a slight incline would stress your achilles). I do a mix of Lovingfit routines and abs with Blogilates, HIIT workouts from old Bodyrock and other various websites. |

Honest opinion: if you were working with doctors and nutritionists try following the maintenance meal plan they gave you for a longer period. unless you just came off of a weight gain plan, then cut 300 calories every week until you stop gaining. If you are losing weight again then add 1-200, just be a bit flexible :) it took me a few years to start eating without counting anything after recovery. |

omg I started laughing at that last part because I've had that happen several times ahaha. I do want to throw in a foam roller, you can find one for around 10-15 dollars. Besides regular stretching, rolling sore muscles on it can help increase blood flow to the muscles. |

+1 to Cassey Ho's ab workouts, her other workouts not so much. Except for a few HIITs. Also focusing on abs every day or even every other day will not build you a stronger core but instead keep tearing and wearing the core muscles down. Like previous posts, abs are more of a diet thing. Also building muscle in other areas of the body can help reveal them faster. I want to suggest Tatianna's Lovingfit.com (she also writes for cyberevil, which has some really good advice about overtraining and planing workouts that are not posted on her site) because she goes into detail about nutrition and hounds down on proper form. She also suggests to do more than just crunch type of exercises unless you are a beginner (which is true because after a while you dont progress). Also I found her "take 5 days off every 6 weeks" very helpful, your body will need it so that you don't plateau. |

Your profile says you used to do competitive gymnastics, my friend was in that and after she quit gym and swimming she got obsessed with it for a while and burned out. Me on the other hand went through a similar phase at one point. Basically what will happen is that your body will start burning up or "eating away" muscle since it doesnt know where else to get its resources to push itself. You will eventually burn out, it wont happen right away, it can take several years. Like the anorexic xc runners I used to see in college who never came back because of burnout. You wont technically ruin your metabolism either, just temporarily until your body repairs itself. |

If you run faster or go outside and dont worry about your speed you might run faster, as cpa_pfs mentioned, run dont jog. Or do the stationary bike if you dont want to go outside (burn baby!) or HIIT intervals with some jump squats and switch lunge jumps and then burpees, my legs hated me the next day from those. |

| Def up the weigh routine and possible cut back on cardio and do a cardio interval instead. Like warm up 10 min and alternate between 1 min hard and 1 min easy for 10-15 min and 10 min cooldown. It's more effective than doing just steady pace cardio. | |||

| Look up bodyweight circuit training (or HIIT since a lot of HIIT I see use bodyweight). Try those and add the weights if they are too easy. | |||

| If you can do 8 and no more within a set without your form suffering then it's heavy. If you give yourself very little rest then you can also log it as circuit. It's kind of confusing but whichever sounds best to what you are doing. | |||

Im going to say get an x-ray. Ive had several foot injuries, mainly tendonitis related but ive been questioned for stress fractures. It kind of sounds like either a fracture in the metatarsal bone (which is common place), planters faciitis, you are just wearing the wrong shoes (new shoes you need to return or old shoes you need to replace), or increase in milage to quickly...which would cause other injuries. I want to say planters faciitis beause I have had it in my heel, outer part of my foot and up to the front of the foot (front is rare). But it doesn't sound like it to me because PF effects mainly the back and sometimes the front. If anything I want to say its a stress fracture but the tingly prickly feeling makes me want to say you might have a damaged nerve or a combo of both? Since it has gotten better over the past few days it could just be something like a muscle or tendon, but if it hurts again while trying to run on it because it "feels fine" then get it checked out. |

| It sounds like planters faciitis to me, if you notice that it hurts more in the morning then I would assume that is it. The best way I personally combated t was getting a new pair of shoes, using a stationary bike (and eventually an elliptical, I'd wait a while before using it), and using a frozen water bottle and rolling my foot over it. Also scrunching a small towel with your toes and picking out marbles in a box of rice help build strength back. If it does not feel worse inthe morning I would get xrays to rule out a stressfracture. | |||

basically what the previous two posts mention, but i also want to incude the surface you are running on. the beach may seem like the perfect place to run on because it is such a soft surface, but it can do more harm then people think. I've seen twisted ankles, knees go bad from just one run, it messes with your running form. |

EDIT: deleted my previous post, mrwilsoncat we mustve posted at the same time and i didnt realize it earlier (iphone post, so i cant look at profiles on the forum but decided to investigate as soon as i was at a computer). I am sick of seeing 13 year old girls on here who are already at a good weight who dont need to lose weight yet strive to lose 10+ pounds. |
