Have you tried simply telling her how you feel? Call her and calmly explain to her that you would really like to get together without her boyfriend or people you're uncomfortable with being there. Maybe you guys could hang out alone Friday night and her boyfriend can hang out with you guys Saturday. Then you get one-on-one time with her and she still gets to see her boyfriend. Win-win. Don't get mad at her for making new friends. I'm shy and quiet too, and I do feel awkward when I visit my long distance best friend and she's got people over that I don't know.... but honestly, if you just try to loosen up and get to know her friends, you might like them. It sounds like you're maybe jealous that they come over when you're there... like I said, relax and try to get to know them. :) It's only natural that you would want your best friend to know your other friends. So just talk to her! :) Don't get upset, don't accuse her... just explain that you want some girl time! |

The story-line was okay... but I really don't see what all the hype is. Honestly, I found it quite disturbing. I knew the book was dirty, but I didn't know it was THAT type of dirty. Maybe I'm just a baby, but I thought it was really gross and just... not hot at all. |

I read the series before it was so popular (before the first movie came out) and I loved it. However, the movies really did ruin it for me. They just made everything seem so cheesey and ridiculous... and the casting was AWFUL. Instead of picturing the characters as I had imagined them, I now only think of Kristen/Rob, if that even makes sense to anyone else. I really did like the books, though... I guess it's because I could really relate to Bella in the sense that I am clumsy, quiet, plain, etc. She had plenty of emotion and personality in the books, and her love for Edward didn't seem quite as pathetic as it did in the movies. Edward was a bit creepy, though... I didn't like the whole sneaking-into-her-room-to-watch-her-sleep thing. That was a little too much. As for 50 Shades... I finally read that the other day and noticed all of the similarities it shared with Twilight. I brought it up to a friend and she informed me that 50 Shades was an adult play on Twilight. Hahaha, makes sense now... |

From my experience, when a guy texts you 24/7 and sends you all of these wonderfully sweet messages but never asks you out... it's probably because he's saying the same exact things to every other girl on his contact list. I wouldn't be too offended. |

Whether or not you've got a thigh gap depends on your bone structure. It's not an indication of beauty... it's just genetics. Instead of focusing on how your legs look, why don't you focus on what they can do? Sometimes I hate my big calves, but I know they're only big because I'm a runner and they're strong. Don't compare yourself to other people! Those same people you're jealous of for having a gap between their thighs may hate it and be jealous of you for NOT having one. Relax! :) |

I never went to parties or anything in high school... never drank at all until I got to college. I still haven't been to a real party. I occasionally have a few drinks with friends and I've tried "other things" maybe twice and really hated it. Partying actually looks really gross to me... I have no urge to be in a crowded room with a bunch of sweaty, sloppy drunk people. Teenage drinking/drugs are pretty common to me, as I lived in sort of a hick town and now I live in a college town... So. I do find it odd to hear about 13 year olds getting wasted on the weekends, though... I think I was still playing with Bratz and stuff at that age, lol. Not drinking myself into oblivion. |

Take embarrassing photos of them being annoying drunktards... then randomly send the photos to said annoying drunktards every once in a while to remind them that you witnessed everything they don't remember. :D That's what I do... |

You're probably not losing weight because you're not eating enough! It sounds weird, but if you don't eat enough, your body goes into starvation mode and tries to hold onto all of its fat. Teens should be eating at least 1500 calories every day... and even more if they exercise as much as you do. |

I bring my meals to work and this is what I do :) -Pack all the ingredients for a salad in mini Tupperware containers and then build your own salad at lunch. (Toppings I use are chicken, garbanzo beans, turkey, corn, green peppers, etc. Keep it interesting :D) Have fruit and a granola bar for dessert. -Bring a bunch of finger foods like celery, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, apple slices, pepperoni, hard boiled eggs, cheese and crackers, etc. and have a little buffet :) -Turkey or ham roll ups: spread cream cheese on a few slices of turkey/ham and then roll them up with cheese slices. Have granola and fruit on the side. |

i usually just do shots and skip the mixed drinks... although shots are still ~100 calories each. :/ if i do have a mixed drink, i make sure it's made with diet or zero soda instead of regular. i usually know ahead of time when i'll be drinking, so i skip the dessert or something to save a few hundred calories for the occasion. |
