I was seriously ill for a little over three years. I gained weight rather quickly. After spending a year in a wheel-chair, going through rehab and joining life again. I was faced with realization that years of steroids and inactivity had left my body in extremely poor condition. In March of 2008 I decided to get serious about getting all of me healthy and began calorie counting and regular exercise. Now, one year later, I have lost 118 pounds and actual enjoy exercising. ) My goal is 38 more pounds. I joined Calorie Count because this last bit of weight is taking a lot more effort than previous pounds. Instead of just getting frustrated, I decided to find a place where I could find encouragement and weight management tips.
