About: Fiona is a stay-at-home mother of two children and a dog. She is passionate about low-fat cooking and everything related to food, fitness and health. Between school runs and long dog walks, Fiona can often be found browsing through her pile of cooking magazines, or whipping up her favorite recipes - low fat, of course. Experience: Fiona is an experienced researcher and editor who spent nine years working for The Economist, a highly respected current affairs and business magazine. She has also researched and contributed to a number of other publications, including The Economist's Pocket World in Figures series, and The Battle for Scotland by Andrew Marr. Education: Fiona was educated at the University of Lancaster, England. She holds a bachelor's degree in history and a graduate diploma in library and information science. From Fiona Haynes: "Adopting a low-fat lifestyle means making certain changes, but doesn't condemn us to a lifelong diet of lettuce leaves and celery sticks. We can still enjoy a rich variety of foods and flavors yet ultimately be rewarded with healthier bodies. Please join me on this journey, and discover that eating low fat means eating well." |
