I have been the wife of a United States Marine for over 14 years. His career has afforded us the ability to travel all over the US and the world; to see and do things that I never thought possible (especially after being raised in such a small Oregon town). We rode elephants in Thailand, walked the Great Wall of China, traversed the trains and subways in South Korea & Japan and went scuba diving in the most beautiful waters I've ever seen. After 6 years living in Okinawa, we have returned to the US with 2 more children than we left with (bringing the total to four). We are less than 6 years away from retiring from the Marine Corps and are currently living in the Mojave desert. We travel home to Oregon and Washington as often as we can. I have made wonderful friends with people all over the world and am so grateful there is a way to catch up with all of them!
