Hi Lester, I had to just get rid of foods that are not nutritious, so when I want to binge, there is nothing to binge on! that includes bread! Your wife could help you with this I'm sure.

Are you exercising? That will help curb your desire to eat, too.

It's like you have to trick your body, but realize your are not respecting your body by binging. Only give it (yourself) foods that will help it (not hurt it). The medications you take may contribute to your weight problem. Have you asked your doctor about revising the medications?

I haven't read all of your blogs, so have you tried a part time job/volunteer work?

Have you tried overeater's anonymous?  Weight watchers?

It sounds like you have a lot to share with others!

I have at least 20 more lbs to lose.  I feel "stuck", too. I make myself go to the  gym but once I workout, I feel like I have acccomplished something.  Just think about how good you will feel when those 10 pounds are gone! I don't think one needs to get their mind off of exercise, just put it in its proper place. And thinking about your diet is good, you are training yourself to eat properly.

Try just putting your thoughts on paper and then put the paper away to look at later. Leave it alone for a while. Force yourself to think about other things. It really is mind over matter and you seem to realize that. But it is not easy!

Have you tried making exercise your hobby? Yoga can clear your mind and tone your body.

Painting the molding is great, could you do mine next?

the same thing has happened to me!  I thought I was imagining it, so a BIG Thank you for your post! How about yoga after your cardio? just a few moves may help

Melkor, I very much appreciate your good explanation of chiropractic.  I have tried to tell people the same thing.  I even tried chiropractic myself but got tired of the cost and what I feel are false premises.  thanks EL
