They tend to be really inacurrate. When you at least type your weight in, they are a little closer but still pretty off. If it says I burned 270, I round down to 200. I always round down to the enarest hundred- who knows? Your best best is to get a heart rate monitor. Those take into account your body type and everything. |

I think you burn about 20 calories in an hour of chewing- that is an estimate I've heard among others. Regardless, I always just assume I've chewed off the calories and even if I didn't, it most definitely keeps me from eating something high cal I shouldn't be.. |

I have recently become obsessed with his show. Oh yeah, and I totally have a crush on him too. I can't quite comprehend why I am so extremely into him, but I am. Weird, yes. Maybe? His character on the show reminds me a bit of Mike Scott (Steve Carrell) from The Office. Do you know what I'm talking about? He does the whole "I'm God's gift to the world" thing....haha. |

| They do advocate lifting light weights which as I said, I am stuck with the subscriptions. No, they are most definitely not the best fitness magazine but I suppose since I do know whats right/wrong, I am not one of those girl's talknig more reps, less weights. They do provide which is my point some routines that genuinely work with using your own body weight. I guess it just is annoying because I do still read them and.... well, they're not entirely bad. Good for motivation atleast. | |||

| I absolutely adore my melon scoopers for making cookies. I always get so many compliments on their perfect shape and since I have thee different sizes of the scoopers, its nice I can decide how big/small I want my cookies to be. | |||

I've always done this type of crunch with feet lifted in all my group fitness classes. And floggingsully, she never said it was an entire routine for abs... I get both Shape and Fitness and I really do love getting them. I ordered them a while ago and my subscription isn't up so I am sort of stuck with them. But the fitness moves they provide are actually quite good. I do them a lot and feel the results as well. They truly get a worse rep than they deserve so don't go bashing stuff you really don't know. |

Oh m-m-m-y goodness- pinkberry!! I eat it anytime I'm in NYC. They have so many toppings to choose from like my favorite mango. Also pomegranate seeds, coconut, any berries... They have a regular yogurt and a green tea (which tastes sort of funky in my opinion) and supposedly are getting another as well... I personally find the price fitting for such a delicious treat. I don't think I paid 5 bucks though... I've seen that 101 Cookbooks recipe before- I love her blog. David Lebovitz has a lot of similar recipes as well (ice cream too). You should totally check out his blog. He has a cookbook (The Perfect Scoop) if you're really interested- not that it'd be helpful for dieting. And this recipe from Vegan Visitor similarly sounds delicious. http://veganvisitor.wordpress.com/2007/07/08/ ginger-rose-sorbet/ |

Wow. This is such a surprising post honestly. Every single comment essentially describes me perfectly. No matter the degree of "down-ness" I am feeling, I will personally sabotage diet. It has gotten so bad that I cannot even keep food in the vicinity or else I will find a reason to make it ok to eat it. It really is so awful and the food I reach for is food I would not normally eat really. Like you lucyluck, I too have recently gotten really bad and have gained about ten pounds from eating entire packs of cookie dough or boxes of cereal. I have the "finish the package" complex going on in my head and obviously it is not working out for me. While I am stil a perfectly acceptable weight for my height as well, it is definitely not going to last until I get myself in check. |

I'll stick with the driving as well. I cannnnot stand people who don't signal. Especially if I am waiting there for like 5 minutes for you, then you casually decide you might turn. Also, I flip out when I see detours. Its not like anyone can really control them but I have zero sense of direction, always get lost, and I just don't like veering from my route, mkay? |

The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
