ugh what's messed is i'm still in ed so i actually believe half the crap that follows:

 

if you eat over 1200 calories you will gain weight

if you gain weight you'll automatically become fat/average

the only reason anyone is friends with me is cause i am thin

my personality and identity are so disgusting and need to be made up for with thinness

all my size 0 pants are really like a 5 or 7 and it's just companies lying to try to coerce me into spending money

being tall is the same as being fat

if i was shorter/smaller my family would accept/listen to me

if another girl beats me at anything it's cause she's thinner or prettier and i just can't see it

i need to make up for my ugliness by being thin

regular women are 120 pounds so i'm average at 120 pounds and 5'11 and making this whole thing up

i'm an attention seeker and deserve this eating disorder anyway.

Hnngh, I'm 5'11 so this calculator puts me in at way more alarmingly underweight than I thought I was. This week I came in at 122 which I thought was a "comfortable" BMI of 17 but is actually 16.4? What? And I've been beating myself up SO much for gaining the weight too. What the hell

i'm 5'11 and also female. i've read a healthy weight for our height is between 135-180lb, although if you have a larger build or more muscle you should target what's healthy for you! i'm jealous you can pull off that weight, i was 150 a few years ago and the "fat" comments from my family etc made me drop down quick.

i'm 5'11

at 135 i wore a size 3

at 145-150 i wore a 7

and now at 120-125 i wear a 0 or 1.

sorry haa. got carried away thinking of non eating disorder life. the example was in response to OP's belief that she will gain loads of weight on what is a reasonable intake for a teenager. i thought that was obvious but i'll be more thorough next time.

this thread brought me to a weird realization...i'm uncomfortable now.

what i like: my stomach, i like my long legs, i like my thighs. i don't find them too jiggly. i like my hands, they look like my mom's. i like my long hair and my small boobs. i like my clothing size, i like my teeth.

what i don't like: my height...and to a lesser extent, my nose. things i can't change with weight.

what i plan to do once i have the body i want: i have no idea. i won't get shorter, i suppose i will cut down on processed foods because they make me feel ill.

ugh :/

they dehydrate you and cause chemical imbalances if abused. then after awhile you can't poop without them and you feel like dying. or you take a whole pack and nothing happens and you feel bloated beyond anything. at least, i'd imagine. that's why i don't overdo it on laxatives, ever. i only use them when it's actually needed and always less than the recommended dosage.

yeah uhh 5'11 and 138 is really low. i'm 5'11 myself and my setpoint is 135-145, and i often got "skinny" comments and blablablah. now i'm around 120-125 and i definitely don't look healthy, i would look more attractive if i were closer to your weight, and i feel like crap constantly from being underweight (no energy or muscle) so i would definitely not recommend further weight loss lol. when i gain it'll be a long way before i can be your size, i'll have to overshoot and lose again which could take like a year x___x

 

i remember feeling attractive-skinny at 138. omg and having boobs. ugh i miss it.

You're expecting to bear a child but not gain weight?? Babies weigh something, yo. Not only that, but striving to keep your weight at a minimum could be severely dangerous and hurt it or you. Maybe reassess when you are willing to put the needs of your family above your figure.

Thank you so much for your replies! I will be responding at length later. My BMI is actually about 16.6...but yeah, deposit is paid at new apartment, I will be moving out in less than two weeks!! Thank you so much :( I have to run to work lol!!

I'm 5'11! Or maybe a half inch taller but not sure.

Currently I weigh about 125lb. I've gained up from 113 in April and was ~115-119 from last November up till then. I had an eating disorder though so I consider the weight gain a positive, or at least try to. I don't have a goal weight that would sit well with other users on this site which was fine. Before ED I tended to be 145lb eating whatever I wanted, but slimmed down to 135 in summers and stuff. I believe 130-135 is a much healthier weight for our height.

I agree about thigh measurements. My legs are pretty slim but my thigh definitely is 18".

As for 36-24-36 I'm off too :( I'm 5'11 (yikes) and measure 34-24-33.5" lol. I'd have to gain in the bust and hips to pull it off. I am like 120-125lb usually. Of course a shorter girl would look better though, being tall I have to make up for it by having slim measurements.
