The Lounge How do you know if you are bisexual? Aug 22 2012

I consider myself Bi-sexual. I am faithful to my husband tho and have not even flirted with a woman since he and I got together. I do still "think" about it tho. I just look at gender as being as important as hair color or eye color, etc. I think the person themselves is what I am attracted to, not what they look like. That said, I do enjoy checking out a nice body on tv or in the mall. lol

((hug)). I don't know you, but we all matter and are here for a reason. Sometimes we don't find real love until we give up on it and quit trying.

Back when I was single, there really weren't any set" rules". Except Honesty and Faithfulness. Other than that, each relationship was an individual.

I will admit that Reality TV is one of my guilty pleasures in life. I would rather watch them than to actually socialize with people.

I went to the gym and did a major workout last night for the first time in months. I also got on the scale. I started trying again with my food too.  For the past few months I had gone back to all my old ways. My old weight was returning too.

I am on a borrowed computer right now, mine is broke down. I will sit and catch up on the posts I haven't read yet soon. I just needed to not let anything stop me from admitting my fall and recommit. Thank you for still being here. I hope to get strong enough to be that stable for you all and others in the future.

Happy 4th of July. Juju= Sounds like you are keeping a good attitude about the wedding and your goal.

I have not been on here very much. I have been doing at least an hour of the sorting, packing and hauling stuff everyday as my workout. I figure that that way I am "multitasking". lol I am really excighted about the move.

Welcome to all of you that I hadn't "met" yet. This is a great group.

I am not looking forward to the scale Friday. My eatting has not been good. A lot of emotional eatting has happened. I will just have to face it, after all = I was the one who ate the stuff.

Yesterday morning I woke up at 4 am and was rested and wide awake. So I played on my computer till the sun came up, then by 7 am was outside working (did't want to wake hubby). I trimmed vines, sorted storage, swept up 4 yrs worth of dirt and leaves, packed boxes, loaded my little car with a load and took it to the thriftstore to donate it. All by 2 pm! I am counting stuff like that as a workout! lol

Sehmicor= congrats on the loss, we expect pictures of you as a bridesmaid in that dress. lol Please?

Dale= TOM and sodium probably have a lot to do with it. That and, are you back at work and all that stress? How far from Minot, North Dakota USA do you live?

As an alcoholic/addict that has almost 8 yrs of sobriety, I STILL HAVE TO MAKE THAT DECISION TO STAY SOBER almost daily. Addiction doesn't go away or die. It only lays in wait to strike when you are least likely to fight it. Your friends are doing the right thing by not wanting to be around you if you are using. Stay away from the users. They just want to drag you down with them. Your good friends= IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING STRAIGHT, THEN GET THRU 24HRS SOBER AND THEN CALL A FRIEND YOU TRUST AND OPEN UP TO THEM AND SEE IF THEY WILL GO DO SOMETHING WITH YOU SUCH AS GO TO AN NA MEETING AS YOUR SUPPORT.

Hubby and I have decided to move to North Dakota. We are working with a 6 month time schedule. To be in our new home by Nov. 1st.  I am currently trying to find homes for most of our pets. It is really emotionaly hard and causing some tension between us. He thinks that we should be able to move across half of the U.S. transporting 14 cats and 3 dogs. GRRRRRR!!!!

Anyways, the first dog and cat left to go to their new homes Sunday. I hope that he doesnt continue to fight me every step of the way. We usually get along so awesome that just knowing that the other one is not happy with you and does not agree with the decision is fighting. No harsh words or raised voices, still hugs and kisses and I love yous.

If this doesn't make alot of sense, sorry it is early and I am sitting here in the dark while drinking my coffee before my shower. lol

For me the trick is feeling them start. If I catch them before I am no longer in enough control of the situation, then I am able to just sit in the car for a few minutes. Either along side the road or in a parkinglot or such. I also plan these little stops into my errands just to make sure I am not constantly running late and stressing myself right into one. Such as getting places at least 15 minutes early so that I feel calm. Just got to find what works for you.

I would recommend getting the tattoo somewhere that would be hidden in a business skirt and heels. Such as on your upper back (shoulder blade area). I would also suggest maybe going more for a picture that a letter.Every one in your life will first think the" j" stands for one of your ex's.  Something that is symbolic to you about your relationship. The day my Mom died I got a tatoo of a little dog wagging it's tail because she used to sing "How much is that doggy in the window?" to me when I was little. I already have tatoos, this was the first one I got that often shows.

As far as games;

The traditional guessing of the size ribbon to fit around the Mom to Be's belly. Everyone looks at her and cuts off a piece of ribbon that best fits.

Diapering race. Maybe even with full water balloons (as babies) and cloth diapers and diaper pins. Then after the shower the cloth diapers can be washed and be as emergency ones or burp rags for baby. Every mom should have at least a few.

If they have already picked out the name- give everyone a paper with the name written at the top and see who comes up with the most words from those letters in like 5 minutes.

A scavanger type hunt. Can only look in your own purse or diaper bag though. (Lotion, nail clippers, unopened piece of mail, a picture of a child, hand sanitizer, food,etc...) This one got alot of laughs and competiveness at my Daughter in Laws.

Food= What are her cravings? Maybe have that be the main part of the menu?

Original Post by thecrankyone:

Life long NoDak here (currently in Fargo).

I like rain better,  you don't get stuck, you don't have to shovel, and it is usually still safe to drive.

You should have came up this year, it didnt' even feel like winter with the over warm temps and almost complete lack of snow.

But sometimes I don't mind a nice gentle snowstorm, or a nice excuse to stay in and drink hot cocoa while curled under a blanket.

What part of ND.  I grew up north of Williston,  my mom is still in Williston and the oil boom in that part of the state is insane to put make an understatement.

If you are thinking of comming up for the oil jobs, be aware that it is a bit like the wild west up there, and housing is a bit of a nightmare both for cost and finding anything.

Fargo on the other hand seems to think it can turn into Minneapolis or something. Though I like it here for the most part, even if it is getting too big for its self. I've lived in Fargo for 20 years and the amount of growth and change is mind boggling.

This is the first time in  I can't remember how many years that no sands bags needed to be filled.  A nice respite.

Don't think I'm warning you off, ND is a great state, but if you aren't familiar with it, it can take some getting used to the culture.

On the other hand Snow can be quite beautiful, it s great to make snow men, nave snowball fights, go snowmobiling (love it) or cross country skiing, or sledding/tubbing.

If you arent' used to driving in it though, I would suggest getting some lessons and practice as it's quite different than drving in other condidions. Even those of us lifers need to refresh ourselves during the first snow falls.

ND does have beaches. We have Lake Sakakawea, Metagoshi, the Missouri and smaller bodies. Not the same as the ocean but great for fishing, boating, water skiing, and just hanging out on shore.

If you are in the eastern part of the state, there are also some nice large puddles in MN J/K.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Yes, my hubby is a truck driver from Minot. His Mom, 2 daughters, and 2 grandsons, along with most of the rest of his family are there. He wants to get a job driving for the oil boom. He will be going ahead and then coming back for me after a couple of months.

Right now the hardest part is the finding homes for most of my animals. Somehow we ended up with 3 dogs and 14 cats. YES EVERYONE IS SPAYED OR NEUTERED. He had a dog and cats when we met, I had a dog and cats, when my daughter couldnt take care of her's they came to live with us, when my Mom passed away her cats came to live with us. Hopefully if I get it down to only 2 dogs and 4 cats landlords will still rent to us.

We prefer to not be "city" but rather small town. He has mentioned a few different areas. He hasn't been back there in years though. Hopefully his best friend(who is super happy that we will be moving there) is motivated enough to help find us appropriate housing!

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
