True, but cutting out food to restrict your diet and not having the desire to consume more food are two separate things. Cutting out cookies for some people can lead to bingeing and weight cycling. It really depends on the person. Get proper nutrients, watch to make sure you are eating the enough of the right foods, and don't binge. There you go, if you don't feel a need to binge and you don't feel hungry with the restrictions you have, then I wouldn't fear weight cycling, again if you are getting the proper nutrients. |

If you have a balanced diet and hit 1000 you'll be fine. According to the Q and A on this site (CC) With careful planning, you could have a balanced diet on 1000 calories". Just make sure you're getting all the nutrients you need. |

Most liquor is the same, as other have said, but if you like sweet drinks, just do half club soda and 1/2 juice cuts your calories. Also make sure to use tons of ice, fills up space that would be juice. My sunday favorite, Bloody Mary's with Low Sodium Tomato Juice, 100 calories. Then in the evenings, Vodka, Water (or club soda), cranberry juice with lime. MGD 64 has just 64 calories too if you wanna go beer, 94 in Miller Lite. |

I buy the frozen costco chicken too, I recommend thaw then marinade, yeah you probably could thaw and marinade together but I find better flavor through the chicken if its thawed then soaked. |

Extra Sharp Cheddar or Vodka. Oh how I wish they were oh so healthy like celery or broccoli instead of moderation foods. |

I completely understand where you are coming from. After a month of recording every single thing i only went over 1,000 calories 3 times, my average was around 815 calories a day. I know it isn't the standard calorie intake, but it really does depend on your diet and your body. Just because the standard is 1200-1400 calories a day to lose weight and not be in "starvation" mode (as everyone calls it on here) doesn't mean it applies to ever single person out there. One thing I've started doing is adding a tablespoon of ground flax seed to what I'm eating, oatmeal, yogurt, hummus, its a great breading when baking or roasting veggies or meat AND it adds 90 calories in to tablespoons. It is helping me move my count up to see if there is a difference. If you have insurance I recommend going into the doctor and talking to them about it, a physician that sees you in person is the only one that can tell you if what you are doing is correct for your body. |

Coming off a cleanse you want to start with liquids and work your way into solid foods. You don't drink broth and eat veggies forever after you finish the cleanse. You get to go back to eating slowly without overwhelming your body. Cleanses have been done centuries, the Master Cleanse has been around over half a century and is widely used. If you have questions on how it can effect you feel free to talk to your doctor and hear their recommendations. It is not something you should do for the rest of your life, you need additional foods and nutrients. The master cleanse does wonders for me, it might not for you. I love the feeling of knowing I have a clean slate and all of the energy, that comes along with it. I don't feel like I am starving while on it, a bit irritable on day 3 but I never feel I need food or else. Like I said talk to you doctor see if it is recommended for you. Some will and some won't recommend it, it depends on you and your health. Also get out there and do some research on different options for cleanses, some involve eating most of the time and just taking additional herbs and/or drinks that help with colon health. There is so much out there to look into. |

The Master Cleanse is something I do 2-4 times a year. I find it energizing, rejuvenating, my cravings disappear, it is an great way to make sure I am purging all the bad stuff inside me. I'm going to warn you it is not easy the first time, and it is not for everyone. You do lose weight or gain weight (most people lose), but you can easily gain it all back if you don't watch what you eat going forward. You will gain some of it back no matter what just by adding solids into your diet. Personally I've lost over 20 lbs, and 2 sizes doing a 10 day cleanse. I don't struggle with it and enjoy it more than anything, on day 3 I usually feel a bit tired, but come days 4 and 5 not at all, regular energy, better skin, it is great. I recommend only going 1 week the first time (as long as you check with a doctor first and are in a healthy enough condition) as others do it more they can go 10, 14 days, I don't recommend more than 1 month though, however I know people that have. And take caution when coming off the cleanse, jumping into solid fatty foods ruins all the hard work you just did. Stick to broth's with veggies. And like I said before always check with your doctor first if you have any questions regarding its effects on your health. |

Broccoli is pretty good raw, great to use to snack on. Asparagus when its in season is also really good fresh and raw, if you wanna be a little crazy you could throw in in the oven for a few and roast it. When it cools throw it in the bag for later and its great that way too. Minimal effort. If you add hummus to carrots and/or celery it can substitute as a healthy peanut butter and might make it more tolerable. |

If you like things spicy, try adding red pepper (cayenne) to them. It can add some favor and a bit of a kick. Its nice to mix it up, just a little bit goes a long way. |
