I say men with bad attitudes rarely change... you either chose to put up with it on the occasions they get upset about nothing,or build up the courage to forget the relationship and move on. My partner of 3yrs does the same kind of stuff. However its when something really upsets him,or he's under the influence of alcohol. I usually ignore it. And when hes drunk i push it aside because one can never take someone seriously when their judgement is impaired. He used to get upset about stupid things and say mean things, but I had him start seeing a therapist and he got on a mood stabelizer. Things are way better than before. |

my bmi is about 22.9 right now,and i feel good in a bikini, however i've always had a problem with my tummy and my upper inner thighs,so if i feel bloated or i just ate i get self conscious about it. i used to be a lot bigger, i started wearing more showey swimwear when i was at 160 pounds, and i was not super thin. i'd suggest if you feel uncomfortable in straight up bikini, try mini skirt for swimming. and maybe start with a top that goes down more. People judge as you know, but i try and think of it this way "I could look worse". The most important thing is that you feel confident about yourself. the more you are,the better your self esteem and you'll most likely be more motivated to workout.

for one justin beiber is very young and obviously hasnt hit full puberty,so of course he looks/sounds like a girl. so what, so did nick carter, justin timberlake, and all the other young boy band/singers. as for jillian, shes not your stereo-typical english blonde hair blue eyes girl, shes probably got some italian or/and german in her, so of course shes going to have different/not so feminine(but you can still tell shes a lady) features. I think its more attractive for a person to have defined facial features, and a strong build, maybe some curves going on. Jillian is a role model, not someone to talk down on like this. |

im not completely sure what the meal exchange is, but my guess is a written out plan for what a healthy person eats in a day that includes all the right fiber, protein, carbs, fats, etc. like as an example eating an egg with fiber/wheat toast with some fruit for breakfast something healthy at lunch some nuts or snack bar a couple hours later a healthy dinner around 500 calories, and maybe even a few more healthy snacks put into your day. some people suggest eating 6 small meals in a day will regulate healthy eating, but you sound kind of like me. I feel like im going to gain weight if i dont work out and starve myself. i feel bad when i eat,and i feel worse when i dont work out and eat the same as i normally do; and definately feel horrible when i overeat.

She needs to realize its not a competition and everyone looses weight differently. Jealousy is totally getting to her, and she should care more about herself that what your doing. She should see that going out for pizza after complaining about her weight isnt a resolution. if she wants to loose the same amount of weight as you she needs to work harder. I think you know all this. Maybe your friend needs to hear from more than just you that its not okay to just let herself go and she needs to do something about it now, not in a day, week, month, year. now. |

i started at about 155, im down to 136, i am hoping to get down to 133, but im not pushing myself as hard as i was. I jog at least 20 minutes a day, usually 35 minutes though(about 1.5 miles or more)and i work 6 days a week, hardly have the chance to stop moving. i dont hold myself back from having a little treat here and there. I just know not to over do it. I feel bad if i look at eating out of routine as a cheat day. I dont want to cheat myself, I want to treat myself. |

I did up my calories yesterday because i found myself feeling hungry even after i had a serving of deer stew, canteloupe bread, and a slice of wheat toast! I plan on going for a jog today, which i love to do. :) |

I'm 20 years old,I work as the night shift supervisor/manager at the cvs/pharmacy in my town. I am focused on feeling comfortable in my body, maintaining my weight at 135 or lower(hoping to weight 133 so when i do weight myself weather i've gone to the bathroom, ate,or have water weight so that i dont feel bad when i see 135),and toning the areas on my body that have been not so toned because of being fat. The most i've weighed was when i was 14,5'5",and 190 pounds! I was that fat girl that no one wanted to go out with. I got my first bf as a sophmore in high school. And now I'm at a good weight and feel pretty good about myself knowing my clothes fit nicely on me instead of uncomfortable with my sides bulging a little wearing normal pants. I havent had a whole lot of trouble loosing weight, its just been motivating myself to exercise. When i dont stay active,I become lazy, drink a lot of alcohol, and overeat to the point where i feel like a balloon. Which i hate, and feel it when my stomach expands far too much. But i've cut alcohol out for the most part, just every once in a while at a party, when i'm having dinner with friends at their house since i dont go out to eat often(fresh dinner is far better, most of my friends feel mutual on that behalf),and in the summer time when i go on the occasional 2-3 day camping trips with my fiance/+sometimes friends. 1. height 5'7" 2. current weight 136 3. goals --weight range: 133-135 --fitness related: toning my stomach and thighs keeping active daily and not exceeding my calories learning to up my nutrition and stay healthy 4. exercise plan 25-45 minute jog 5-6 days a week lifting/moving/unloading totes at work 16 hours a week sun/mon/sat 24 hours total of constantly moving/walking at work/assembly work/hanging signs/filling products onto shelfs 10 minute cardio workout 4-5x a week 2000 crunches 3-4x a week 5. calorie targets low active: 1200-1400 high active: 1300-1500 Anyone got advice on what i could add into my diet to help my nutrition deficits of about 20g of fat,6g of saturated fat,200 mg cholesterol, 6-10 mg iron, and 2500mg potassium? That around what im short on a daily basis. |

If she's really your friend you should be able to approach her and let her know how you feel because what is she going to do if you tell her you care about her and her health and would like to be on the same page about the dieting? Sure she might get defensive, but i think thats just because she's insecure and jealous. eventually i would think she'd get over it. All i ever do is talk to my friends about nutrition and exercise, and if they dont like it i wont try and convert them to being healthy, and maybe change the conversation, but i definitely dont let anyone else get in the way of how i'm dealing with myself. But it is nice to have a friend there who agrees with what is going on through the dieting and exercise process. I know its hard not to compare yourself to your friends who have been "better looking" than you for years of your life, but when it comes down to the point here try and let that go. It will get you no where close to having the confidence level you should have. I have always been the fat friend that no one really cared about, and now i am 135 on a regular basis and my friends are jealous. If anyone was to put a plate of food in front of me that was bigger than theirs i'd change that right quick and make my portion smaller. there is nothing wrong with that and if anyone say's otherwise they can **** off. no one can tell you how to eat if your making the right choices and portions. |

I think all overweight people(girls) feel like that. I did, and i kinda still do. I know i will never be able to compete look-wise because those girls most likely havent ever been fat. So they dont have weird fatty spots, or saggy skin or stretch marks that would take TONS of working out and body toning to get rid of! But now that i know what its like to not have a bulge over your pants in the front AND the sides, I dont really care about what those girls look like. People are people, and guys cant just grab those chicks and have them. its just unrealistic. |

Since starting this site I make sure i weigh my food and exercise every day. When I'm feeling like something sweet I eat weight watchers ice cream, or sugar free jello/pudding snacks(60 calories each). Now for the holiday foods, I have yet to be in that position. The people around me,thank goodness, are aware of a needed a healthy lifestyle, so what gets me is wine... and candy. I LOVE chocolate, and cookies... So how i solve that is i don't buy cookies, i did however make really low in calorie oatmeal lace cookies, which i added to calorie count. Only 34 calories per cookie. They are small, but they are so good that eating more than a few would taste bad. I made it with splenda, less sugar than suggested in the original recipe too. And i will treat myself to chocolate every once in a while, my favorite is dark chocolate truffle. MMmm! I have yet to make a pumpkin pie, but pumpkin is super low in calories, and very easy to sweeten in a low calorie manner. I'm thinking when I cut my last pumpkin up(i still have a bunch boiled and stored in the fridge)I will make a pie,and use graham crackers or something similar for the crust. About 3 months ago I was getting up almost to 160 pounds. I am now 137 pounds. This is the smallest I have EVER been in my WHOLE life. I've always been a beautiful person, just everyone saw the "fat" girl. ew. glad thats over with. I hate that i don't fit 75% of my clothes.. And I don't live anywhere near a mall. :'( Hey if anyone likes to discuss what they do on a daily basis working out and food wise i'd love to chat. :), but this is no advance, im engaged. |
