i just got my p90x in the mail yesterday... have to get the add-ons... what kind of weights are yall using, and how much did you work up to? what else do you use? chin-up bar? the push-up disks? anything else? 

i am 5'8 and 125 pounds, 33 years old. this program is probably going to kick my ass, but i know i need to tone up and not loose another 15 pounds. i was 105 last summer, but had no muscle, and little strength. 

i think this will be good, but i am nervous as hell! ha. Tongue out

i bought some scales ~ i weighed 121 pounds the other day... water weight lost? 

going to exercise come hell or high water today. last week was thrown off course!

i love the video ~ i have done it twice last week and not again for three days. it kicks ass though. still trying to decide if i should do it everyday or every other day? i am running too...

vegan or not vegan mcdonald's is just nasty and there isn't a thing on there good for you. just because something is vegan doesn't mean it's healthy. bah.

i did way better tonight ~ still far from great ~ didn't realize how weak i was but the modified push-ups were easier... Laughing ~ it is 0 degrees outside right now, so i didn't even want to go to the gym and run my miles, so instead i did a second abs workout ~ will see how this goes the next couple of weeks... still trying to decide if i should do it every day...

my legs feel fine today ~ but below my neck and between my shoulder blades is really sore ~ maybe i need to make sure my form is good ~ the side lunges were the most awkward thing for me, but i try to be pretty aware because i like pilates too and they are really specific on form.

me too! i run run run ~ i keep upping my miles every week! but a push up. hell no! i was so weak! no strength. i was so ashamed... Frown ... but will do it again! ha.

so i started the program today. 

i watched it first the other day, and i was like... oh, level one is going to be SO easy, no problem. well after running tonight i took the first step. she kicked my ass. 

i am thinking maybe i should run after. 

edit: afterthought

i was wondering ~ do yall do this everyday? do you alternate it with another program? i have the woman's ab diet video and plan to incorporate it somehow ~ 

i am not sure what works best right now ~

Thanks ~ I have fallen off the wagon due to travel nursing and isolation of being in a new city in the north (and i am a southerner ~ what was i thinking coming up here in the winter?) 

ANYway ~ i have gained 15 pounds back ~ but i am already loosing it. 

SB changed my life and i never realized the crap i was putting in my mouth until i started this ~ 

congrats on your loss too! i look for motivation in other folks ~

i have restarted and am down a pound this week. 

started running again, bought a set of scales, and fixin' to start the 30-day shred ~

lol ~ i am 33 ~ just had a birthday last week ~ woop! 

now more than ever i feel i have to keep my weight down ~ i was just 105 this summer and i have gained 20 pounds! 

i ran 2.5 miles this morning, and will do it again before work tonight ~ 

summer will be here any minute.. sigh.

it is so easy to get caught up in numbers ~ that is why i am here, lol.

when i triage a patient ~ if they are my height i am always checking out their weight to compare it to mine ~

i just am always wondering if my numbers are normal...

i am 130

my lowest 105 (and my happiest ~ sorry ~ the number made me happy)

i am a jean size 24 to 26 depending.. mostly 25 long is good

small\medium shirt (i am a 34 C)

i am wanting to get down to at least 115 for summer

my dad lost a ton of weight on it..

but my step-mom cooked all the food for him, lol.

i am 5'7" 5'8" and used to weigh 185 and got down to 105. right now i weigh 126 and i am miserable... but we won't get into all that.

point is i lost my weight and changed my eating habits thru south beach diet. it has been the only thing that every worked for me and it taught me about way better eating habits ~

Hey, just a note!  Capsules are time-released medication.  You CANNOT open the capsule and take all of the powder at once!!! This can cause toxicity of the medication in your body..Please be careful with this and ask your doctor about tablets instead of capsules, but don't do this anymore, it's dangerous!!!

thanks for posting that... i am a nurse and when i read it 100 things went through my head... but i tried to keep on reading so i wouldn't be obnoxious!
