| Weight Loss | Calling all pears! How did you get at losing in your thigh/butt area? | Feb 04 2008 15:12 (UTC) |

It actually depends on what body type you are besides being just a pear. My body type is practically purely mesomorph, so I am muscled like crazy even without working out. My thighs are completely muscled, so they are pretty dang firm. If you are an ectomorph or an endomorph, you may have little muscle or more fat there than a mesomorphic pear. Actually, an ectomorph would have little of anything there, so they probably would not jiggle much at all. |

| Moscovite was closest... 145, actually. Most people guess me to be in the 130's, so I was just wondering if that was a coincidence. Thanks guys! Goal is 130, so I hope I don't look too thin by then. | |||

An hourglass-shaped pear? I'll take it!
A watermelon.. haha.. and a banana? What body shape is that!? |

Oh man, Elli. I can't believe you are on here too.
It's Amber, from high school (remember the morning show?). Yeah, crazy coincidence, right? I'm 5'7" too and was at your weight when I started (146 now). I live in CA now, but I was like, "No way..." when I saw your post with your name and picture. Small world... Anyways, just saying hi. You were soooo skinny in high school! You still look just fine! It was so easy being skinny back then, and now it's all about controlling the weight gain. Ugh. See ya. =) |

LOL... half of you said I was a pear and half of you said I was an hourglass... you guys are just confusing me more, since I was originally 50/50 on it too...
St01, did the book have an 'hourglass' classification? If not, then I probably had to fall into the pear category since there is no place left to go. Is it possible to have an in-between hourglass/pear shape? I'm even more confused now... |
