Update: I woke up this morning and it felt much better ... but my car won't start because it is too cold outside! I'm skipping the gym and drinking hot chocolate instead - no complaints! |

I don't have a lot of personal experience, but I've seen lots of ladies at the gym wear two sport bras at once to help keep them under control :) |

You can just change it from 1 serving to 1/2 serving. Or enter custom items if you don't want to do that. |

How to enjoy running when I hate it? |

Why do you run if you hate it so much? There are plenty of other things you could do. |

is fat needed to gain muscle? |

From what I understand, fat isn't required to gain muscle, but you have to be eating at a surplus to gain muscle. Which you should be doing anyway, since you are still recovering. So to build muscle, you need to have a surplus of calories, including the calories you burn working out. |

I bought the cookies and cream kind because I saw a lot of good reviews for it and thought it tasted pretty gross. To me, it tastes more like a coffee/cappuccino flavor than cookies and cream.
Edit** Buy some vanilla and put crushed oreos on top. You'll be much more satisfied. |

I use the CC app on my iPhone 4s and have not had any problems with crashing. But, I haven't tried submitting my daily report on my phone. I usually do it on the computer at night. |

Just make sure you don't under eat. Calorie count has a bad habit of recommending 1200 calories a day, which is too low for just about everyone. My guess is you should be eating about 1450-1500 calories a day for healthy weight loss. |

College Student--I need to lose weight! |

I'm a college student, too. When I first got to college I gained about 10 pounds. I lost the weight just by counting my calories - no gym required. If you are always hungry but not eating a lot, you are probably eating the wrong foods. Make sure you are counting your calories accurately. Are you in the dorms? When I was in the dorms, I ate lots of steamed vegetables (veggies + water in tupperware, microwave), baked potatoes, and lunch meat sandwiches.
As a side note, losing 23 pounds by December isn't a very realistic goal. If you lose .5 to 1 pound a week, you're looking at about 10 pounds by December.
Good luck! |

Even if you are trying to grow your hair out, you should still get it trimmed up now and then. I'm growing my hair out and still get it trimmed every 4 months or so. I use a hair straightener daily and trimming my hair just helps get the damaged ends off. Go get it trimmed! |

This is why I am pro-life. Surely some of you who are pro-choice would have different opinions if you believed that you were killing a human through abortion, not just getting rid of a "thing" that could possibly turn into a human eventually.
Do you believe in the death penalty?
It's the killing of a distinct human organism.
I already asked Lys if she'd agree with adoption if it could be proved that the unborn child would grow to be a psychopathic killer and she said "no".... Apparently these types of arguements come down to a sort of theology...
The death penalty isn't comparable. Those people made choices and suffer the consequences. Babies are innocent. Completely different. |

In the case of abortion we are talking about something that is not now and may never become a human life.
No, not really. A new, genetically distinct human organism comes in to being at conception, not after. That is when, scientifically, a new human life's existence begins. What happens after that are just different stages of our life and development on our way to death.
This is why I am pro-life. Surely some of you who are pro-choice would have different opinions if you believed that you were killing a human through abortion, not just getting rid of a "thing" that could possibly turn into a human eventually. |

You said "Don't want to have a kid? Fine, other options exist other than abortion."
Have a kid /= keep a kid
ETA: So what options are there to avoid "having" (or giving birth to) a kid?
Google it.
I'm currently pregnant. So if there are ways to skip that whole labor/vaginal birth/c-section thing, I think I'd have heard about them by now. But if you know of something, please, I'm all ears.
I love that I'm pregnant, and I'm thankful that I've had a relatively easy pregnancy. I could never with a good conscience force this on anyone who didn't want it for themselves.
Obviously I'm not saying that you physically have a child without physically having a child. |

But what if those options fail? What if you're as careful as you can be, but you still get pregnant, and you know you can't or don't want to have a kid? Or are you of the opinion that you should be abstinent if you don't want the risk at all?
Adoption?
These are choices you would make as an individual. Why is your way the best way for everyone?
Again.
It's not a matter of the best way or the most convenient way for everyone. I believe that the fetus is a human being from conception, so therefore I do not believe that we have the right to end it's life simply for convenience sake. I understand that not everyone views it as a baby, so I can understand different viewpoints. It's just what I believe.
So, if you understand everyone's viewpoints, why can't it be pro-choice? You can choose not to, and the woman down the road can. You've turned this into a moral issue that must be combated by a few in society. I'm proposing it as a practical issue faced by the individual.
edited: better wording.
I understand why people can think that way, but that doesn't mean I think they are right. |

Why are you pro-life? against pro-choice?
edited: I am not for killing anyone, and I am not against life. I am against the idea that society should do exactly what a couple of people decide is perfect for everyone.
I just have a hard time justifying terminating a pregnancy when, most of the time, it is a direct result of decisions that you freely made. Don't want to have a kid? Fine, other options exist other than abortion.

Adoption?
Does adoption allow a woman to not give birth?
Giving birth and raising a child are not the same thing.
