I am 31 years old and have 2 small children. I gained quite a bit during my pregnancies and lacked motivation to do make changes. After seeing a very unflattering picture of myself, I snapped and decided to do something about it. I started with portion control and counting calories and was amazed at how the pounds dropped off. I stay pretty active and try to run or do the elliptical everyday to maintain my current weight. I am 5'3'' and went from 153lbs to my current 100 lbs. I feel great but do worry about gaining the weight back which is why I still count calories and watch what I eat. I am trying to strike a balance between enjoying life and the little treats along the way and staying fit and lean for my health and to be the best mom I can be.
