monkey, that does sound fairly harsh

are you feeling ok?

Actually, I'm not.  I'm really crabby and feel like siht... thanks for asking though

: )

But that's not affecting how I feel about this.  It just gets annoying when the majority of threads started are from the same person who is constantly complaining about something.  Sometimes someone needs to stop hearing, "awww... poor you" and needs a little tough love or kick in the ass.

There's only so many times we can tell her that she needs counseling.  I mean, we all could use some counseling so I don't mean that as an insult but I'm not posting every single problem I have asking for the same response.

I'm not asking for any response in particular, but thank you.

You seem to have a personal issue with me.  I don't care for you either.  When I see a thread that you've started or one you've participated in, I generally ignore it.  You are more than welcome to do the same.  Actually, I would prefer it.  I don't find anything you have to say helpful, intelligent, beneficial or relevant.  You do realize that no one is forcing you to read my threads or comment, right?

I'm sorry my life isn't as awesome as yours.  I'm sorry I have issues (that clearly I need extensive counseling for, thanks for the reminder).  I'm sorry that I choose to express myself in what I thought was a safe environment.  I wasn't aware that anyone here was under contract to actively participate in my threads and would suffer because of them.

Yeah, I'm a bad mom.  I don't even care anymore.

Lol.  There you go again!  You start a topic but don't want to hear what anyone has to say unless it's "Poor, NP,  your life is sooo rough!"  If you're not looking for responses, then how about you write in your journal instead.

I do not want to sound cruel when I say this because I totally know how you're feeling.  I've been there a thousand times!  This mommy thing is normal.

But......

It seems like every day you start a thread about how crappy life is for you --woe is me-- type of thing.  I don't know if you're actually looking for advice or just venting, but it's become very repetitive.  You're feelings are the same and the responses are the same:  GET HELP!!

Again, I'm not trying to be mean.  I'm just telling you how it is.

Do you wash your hair more than once a week?

Yes. I wash it every 2-3 days (in the sink), depends on sweating.

Sorry for all the questions... I'm just curious.  So you wash your hair and certain parts of your body... why not just take a shower?

Things are hard now.  The prices of everything is going up and pay is going down and jobs are hard to find.  To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that I got an inheritance from my dad's passing and bought a house with it, my family would probably be back living with my mom right now : (

I heard this on the radio coming in to work today - children born after 1985 are living at home on average until they are 30?!!  No freaking way are mine!  LOL

How do they know that considering anyone born after 1985 isn't 30 yet?

I dunno... If I don't shave for an extended period of time, it itches and I can feel it rubbing against my pants legs -- not comfortable.

Just for curiosity purposes, why wouldn't you shave your legs?

 Why would I?

Because hairy legs on a woman is gross and uncomfortable.

What about if you didn't kill them, they'd kill you?

That's killing in self-defense, not murder.

Touché!

The Lounge My parents and my ex husband.... Sep 25 2011

I actually think it's great that your parents still have a relationship with the father of your children.  It's important and your children will benefit from it.

Here's an unlikely situation, but for some reason it popped in my head:

What if something happens to you and you die?  Obviously, your children will go strictly to your husband.  Luckily, for your parents, they would still be able to see their grandchildren because they are close with your ex.  If that wasn't the case, you'd be gone, your ex would have the kids, and your parents would lose all opportunities to see them.

So, don't be childish.  It reminds me of a high school  / middle school mentality "well if I'm not friends with them, then you can't be friends with them anymore either."

The Lounge I think my dad might be having an affair... Sep 24 2011

I think I would confront your dad first.  Tell him that you know what's going on and that he needs to tell the truth to your mother.  I think your mom needs to hear it from your dad -- especially if there's going to be any sort of relationship mending.

But if your dad fails to do it, I would find a way to talk to your mom.  Like others said, your mom has a right to know and needs to get herself checked out for STDs.
