About
| Bio | Here I am, again. Trying to lose the weight that has slowly re-appeared.
I started this journey on June 12, 2008 at a horrendous weight of 182 pounds! As a former weight-watchers lifetime member (I lost 36 pounds through weight watchers and kept it off for several years) I couldn't believe I was nearly back to where I had started! Clothes aren't fitting and I can't stand the rolls anymore. Ugh! Since I'm trying very hard to be frugal financially (ha! as well as frugal calorie-wise!) and weight watchers costs around $40/month, my husband pointed me towards this website. The website's goal for me is to lose 34 pounds to arrive at a weight of 148, but I know I will be personally satisfied with a 24 pound loss and arriving at 158. My first big 'goal' is to bring my weight below 170 pounds, which would be a loss of 12 pounds. I think I'm only a month or so away from that, so it is very exciting! Plus, I have a pair of pants that I would love to pull on (easily!). Update: July 18, 2008....I have made my first goal. Even if just by 1/2 a pound, I am there. Update: August 13, 2008...Well, I didn't quite make my mini goal of 162 by the first day of school, but that is okay. I HAVE lost exactly half the weight I need to lose. I have lost 17 pounds and have 17 left to go. My next goal will be to drop below 160...which is 5 pounds away..so...one pound a week means five weeks...So by September 19th, I'd like to be below 160. |
