Hi :) Goodness, you are quite active! I would suggest 3000+ for maintence. Try 3000-3500. I would say 3500-3800 to gain lb a week. |

How many calories are you currently eating? What is your activity level? I only ask these things, to make you aren't under eating. |

Why are you counting calories? You are only 14! You should be having fun and eating what you want. You are at a healthy weight for your age. |

Thank you all for the help. I am unable to ride a regular bike due to a neurological problem in my pelvis. It is way too painful to sit on a regular bike. This is why I am seeking to buy a recumbent bike. For some reason, the running or using other cardio machines heighten the pain. |

Good thing I am thinking of buying a stationary recumbent bike! So you do still get all the benefits of a regular stationary bike? |

You have a BMI of 18.8 this on the low side of the BMI scale. You are also very active and a dancer, you must have a lot of lean muscle! Did you diet down to get to this weight? How much are you currently eating? How old are you? You are exercising a lot. You should be eating more than 3000 calories. I think you could gain a couple lbs, it would never hurt. You are not underweight, but could gain some if you wanted too. |

The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
