Sorry I haven't been posting very often. I have decided to take myself off this challenge. I'm training for half marathon and really love running so have been less focussed on my weight/trying to lose actually weight. I was really obssessive before about weighing myself but now I don't even remember too, haha. Good Luck to everyone on their weightloss journey, stay strong :-)

Logging in from my mobile so can't paste the intro bit. 18th Feb - 130lbs

I have a nasty chesty cough and chest pain, which I hope doesn't turn into a chest infection, allowing myself to rest today. Tomorrow I'm going to go wheat, gluten and dairy free for a week, I'm hoping this will help my stomach problems as my stomach is so sensitive and may help with bloating.

LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF:  I have lost 23lbs in the last 6 months and hope to lose 12 more (want to reduce my BF %). This year I want to be healthier, fitter, drink more water and eat less junk food. I have taken up running and I absolutely love it!!! I am planning on running at least 30 miles a week and doing a few cardio/strength training classes. I’m going to run my first half marathon in April and hope to do a few more by the end of the year.

I seem to be more or less staying around the same weight, since I've started training for my half marathon I've been more focussed on my weekly mileage than what I've been putting in my mouth, time to pause and really look at my diet.

Sorry was really busy this week and forgot to post on Monday. I have started training for my half marathon but it's been tough running outside with the cold and snow, did some treadmill runs but I really really hate running indoors. This weekend I'm really going to look at my diet and cut out things I know aggravate my stomach (ahh my stomach is super sensitive). I find when I don't eat certain foods my stomach is flat and I'm down a few lbs.

Hope everyone is doing great and Well done Tracie on the 30lbs!!

I am very sore today, no muscle group spared, I'm in too much pain to even use my foam roller! I tried CrossFit yesterday and boy was it tough! I guess this is good pain.

I'm struggling to get my diet back under control, mainly my portion sizes but I'm working on it.

I've been getting so many compliments that I'm looking really slim and athletic so I'm quite please although I feel I still have a bit of weight to lose, I don't mention that to anybody as they will look at me as if I'm crazy.

Sorry I've been a bit Awol of late! It's going to be so hard not to gain weight for the rest of the month as I have so many Christmas lunches and dinners, not forgetting Christmas itself but will try and not go too crazy. I have set a challenge to run at least 1 mile everyday in December, so far 11 days done.

I may not be losing a lot of weight on the scale but I'm losing inches, tried on a skirt I bought a few years ago when I was slimmer, it didn't fit a month ago but now it fits with space in the waist! The running and training classes are definitely paying off. I had a 10k race on Sunday and did it in 51 mins so I'm pleased, I'm never going to be the fastest runner but I'm just happy being able to run the distance without stopping.

Yes, it's actually Wednesday, but this is not a weigh in. This is just an f.y.i. I will not be weighing in tomorrow, and until further notice. I am VERY sick, Dr said today it was a severe and aggressive case of bronchitis, and had I waited a day or two more, it probably would have been pneumonia. And he is not playing around with the meds and the strict orders for bed rest. I have discussed what the dr told me with my husband and kids, and they know what has been prescribed to me: take my daughter to school, take my cough medicine, and bed rest. Pick her up from school, cough medicine, and bed rest. Cough medicine at night and more bed rest. He said he wants me in bed for the majority of the day, since bronchitis normally kicks my butt, and since this time, it turned from a simple head cold to bronchitis in less than two days, we are all concerned. There's also an issue with my balance, of which I have very little.  When I'm feeling better, I'll be back. Good luck!

Jamie, you can remove me from the challenge, as I'm not confident saying that I'll be back next week, or even the week after. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear you are not well, wishing you a speedy recovery!! Forget about dieting for now but concentrate on getting yourself well! Take care of yourself

Sorry I was so busy last week that I forgot to post my weight! Looks like this challenge I'm not doing so well, have kind of lost the motivation to lose weight. I exercise regularly, always have but it's my diet that's the main problem. Since I've started running I have been more hungrier than normal and have been overeating, feels like my stomach is a bottomless pit! I'm slowly trying to nip that in the bud.

My running is coming along, becoming very addictive now, did my longest run ever 17K last Friday!!! I have a 10K coming up in a few weeks, at least I know I can run the distance even if the pace isn't that fast. All this running is making me more hungry! The exercise is fine, it's my diet that I really need to focus on.

Looks like I'm more or less maintaining weight now, not surprising as I have been eating way to many calories and sometimes wake bloated! If it wasn't for the running I have been doing I would probably be seeing a gain. I'm quite pleased with myself as I ran 14km today, 8.6km yesterday and 11.5km on Sunday. I'm going to take a break from running tomorrow and do some circuit training.

I have really done badly this past week, been binge eating like there is no tomorrow. I've been feeling really stressed out at work lately and have been eating to deal with it, not good and I've just had a little dieting meltdown where I'm just fed up/angry with dieting, exercise and weight loss. I feel fat and need to get all this crap out of my system but can't seem to stop. I am going to try harder tomorrow to eat more healthier. I hope I can get back on track before I'm back where I started.
