Bio

I've been overweight since puberty.  I have PCOS and started gaining weight with my first period, and except for a few times, I haven't stopped.  I used to be a very skinny, active kid.  I swam competitively until college, which helped keep my weight stable.  After high school, I put on a bunch more weight.  I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19 and started Weight Watchers the same year.  I managed to lose 58 lbs. and I was down to about 154lbs.  I then transfered from Community College to Temple U. and moved into a dorm.  Between partying and cafe. food, I managed to get back into the 190's within a year or so.  In 2003, when I was 24-25, I started South Beach.  I remember those first couple days of carb and caffiene withdraw were killer!  I lost about 20lbs and quit.  Of course gaining it all back.  In 2006 I joined Weight Watchers again at my highest weight ever, 217,  and lost 27 lbs.  I did the points system at the time and of course I quit again and gained most back.  Then in December 2007, I joined again with my mom and grandmom.  I did their CORE diet and found it much more freeing to not count points and I discovered some new healthy grains (my favorite is bulgur).  I managed to get down to 182, but then I plataeud for quite some time and eventually quit.  In March 2008, I found CC and started counting my calories on the 10th.  It has been really difficult for me, but I keep plugging along.  In 2008, I joined a gym with my sister and we love their classes.  I got a HRM for my birthday that year and I don't workout without it. 

I have a very loving boyfriend, who thinks I'm sexy no matter my size, even if I don't.  I also have a very supportive family and friends.
