I am not a vegetarian but to help me lose weight I have taken to eating alot more veggies when I am out and in.  Most people know why and some get loud mouthed about it, " Oh are you one of them now?"    I just smile and say "so what you don't have to live with me" and then go on with what I was doing.  I am never smart or hateful just stating simple fact.

Motivation Ah, the joy of clothes not evicted... Nov 29 2010

I have always thought that the fit of the clothes is so much more important than the number on a scale.   I ride horses competitively and believe me when I say no body ever believes what I weigh but most of it is muscle  ,  as I have aged a little extra has crept on and I am in the process of removing that.  And the best day was putting on a pair of jods I have not worn in over 3 years and they fit          yippee      and the number on the scale still is not where I think it should be

Foods Cranberry sauce: Jellied or whole-berry? Nov 25 2010

we always have both     as the younger set  3 to 5 like the jellied and us older folk love the whole berry made with an orange and an apple and very little sugar    I think this year I added 1/4 C sugar as the natural sweetness of the fruit was enough.      And we eat it all the time I freeze fresh berries and then get them out and make this up whenever    we especially like it with grilled chicken in the summer for a sweet tart side

I used to and then a veryold woman told me to make sure I remove the bottom plug of the banana.  When you peal it there is a little pointy piece at the very bottom  it has like a black or gray core that goes into the banana.  I now take this off and I can eat them without any side effects.  Hope this helps
