The idea of something living inside me freaks me out. The idea of something MOVING inside me freaks me out. The thought of being pregnant seriously scares me. I find it kind of repulsive.

XD

I feel the exact same way!

there are all sorts of things moving inside you, and depending where you sleep crawling around you too. but its ok they are only after your dead skin. little bacteria, viruses squirming over your skin & in your gut.

sorry, but i get what you are saying. can't we just lay a big egg & just keep it warm?

If your dog loves you more than God, but God is Love, does that mean God is your dog?

now now tom, there's no need for that carry-on. let's keep it under control.

If we had a few of our 'southerner' cousins coming up, fried chicken and waffles in mornings. Now that I'm older I think it was their hangover from Xmas eve cure.

I believe all creatures have a soul. I believe all things have a life source, even a rock. Each is conscious up to its level. I don't believe there is a single one god. I believe that we each are creators and are all interconnected.

I most definitely believe that I will be reunited with my beloved pets.

Now that's what I'm on about.

That's an easy one; seeing as god is fictional, I'd say my dogs love me more, no questions asked. Now, if you were to ask my dogs or my husband, that would be trickier.....

who would still love you if you got them 'fixed'?

Well, to answer your question honestly, my husband and I do not want children. We have been to our GP who has put in a referral for him to see a urologist about a vacsectomy. He is looking forward to being 'fixed' so that I don't have to be on birth control for another 20 years and we don't have to worry about pregnancy. I therefore certainly assume he will still love me!!!

sorry didn't mean to pryEmbarassed, it was the first thing that came to my 'in the gutter' mind.

Um my dogs are animals that are not capable of human emotion, Jesus died for me, end of competition.

horsedung. you don't think dogs are capable of emotion and knowing your emotions? i feel sorry for your pets.

Humans project their own emotions onto their pets.  We don't know what are pets are thinking.  But this thread tells me that most posters love their pets more than they love the people in their lives.

well i agree that people have a tendency to do that, but as you pointed out we don't know what exactly what they think. i don't know exactly what any of you think.

however, there is evidence based on their behaivour that they do actually have complex emotions. there is some neuro-something scientist somewhere on 'the continent' (ie EU) that highly suggests that they do.  as well as a few others. can't remember the name. and we do know they have complex social structures, in which there is a good chance that complex emotions develop.

i ain't no scientist so don't nit pick, but there you go.

maybe they don't love the same way people love, but then again would God?

Motivation Bad Motivation... Dec 14 2009

are you doing exercises that you actually like? i know it takes a couple of weeks to get used to certain activities, but if you have been doing it for awhile and don't like it, move on to something that you do or think you would. even if you think you might not be ready for it.

some of my ones are:

  1. chin ups (cuz you never know when you will be hanging off a cliff/building and have to pull yourself up, like in the movies)
  2. sprinting (in case i ever have to run away from bad guys or run after a bag snatcher)
  3. lifting (good to have strength in case i have to knock anybody over or pick up my husband when our place is on fire & he has been knocked out due to smoke inhalation)

my imagination tends to run away. but mainly i exercise for that brain chemical release. takes awhile to actually get there but keep at.

Any dairy products that comes from a cow contains 59 naturally occuring growth hormones.  One of those hormone is identical to human growth hormones and has been proven time and again to cause prostate and breast cancer.  Also, casein in dairy has the ability to turn on cancer gene when eaten and turn off cancer gene when not eaten.  This is scary stuff and people are eating dairy like it's nothing and worrying about soy?

I don't know. I have found nearly equal amounts of people worrying about both. And I've found both dairy & soy to be very pushed products. Moderation is all I can say.  I have also heard that whey does the opposite of casein. Can't remember the source but anyone is free to look it up.
