weird, but i've actually found that drinking diet soda works really really well.  i think because a lot of times i'm just really thirsty and mistake that for the munchies.  either way, the soda is very refreshing and satisfying and feels like it's filling me up, because i'm truly not actually hungry anyway.  does that make sense/help at all?

i just recently tried Kashi Strawberry Fields, and woah.  it's reeeeaaalll good.  and it's only 60 cal for 1/2 a cup!  same stats as FIber One, except without as much fiber, which is a bummer, but still exceptionally delicious for exceptionally low in calories

my AP Euro teacher told our class not to fill ourselves up all the way.  when mammals are full, they get sleepy.  it's best to be a little hungry.  something higher in fat, like peanut butter is good for the brain too

i think it's depends on how it's prepared.  like if you just have plain cooked shrimp with nothing on it, it's only about 6 cal a piece.  not sure about scallops though...protein!

if you can shop at whole foods (and probably other places where the sushi is made fresh) you can get the rolls made with brown rice.  as long as you stick to rolls with mostly veggies and fresh cooked fish, like shrimp and crab meat, as opposed to fried, i think it's a good choice : )

i just read that it depends on your body shape.  there's a theory that says there are 2 types of bodies--apples and pears.  apples store weight easier in their upper bodies, while pears store more easily in their hips and midsection.

for me, it's always most visible in my face when i gain or lose weight, which can be good or bad because everyone can always see your face
