If any of you want to know some thoughts on shopping for body style, my daughter is starting a business in this field.  She took me shopping for Mother's Day at Jones New Yorkand when I arrived, she had a large fitting room all set up for us with all of the clothes picked out for me according to when I would wear them -- casual (I'm a stay-at-home Mom) and church/date night (not at the same time, of course!).  It was the most pleasant shopping experience I've ever had.  She has done the same for several others, in different age groups and body styles.

Here is her blog:  http://www.fashiontablet.blogspot.com/ which talks about fashion in general (and has our shopping excursion on it) and she also has a facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=580002 191&ref=mf#/group.php?gid=94869515831& ;ref=mf

Check her out!  Even if you are not in a location near her, she can give you tips over her blog or facebook group.

lol thats all well in good but the ruffled tops just make me look weird lol

Haha!  Yeah, I would think so!  But she also has info for men, as well..

Weight Loss Ladies over 30 looking to help each other May 13 2009

Hello to all on this thread...

I have a quick question that I haven't found the answer for anywhere else.  Do you do a lot of estimating of calories on food that you make?  For example, meatballs.  I basically threw several items together using 92% hamburger, 1 egg, bread crumbs, garlic and seasonings.  But how do I figure out what the calorie count is on one meatball?  Or one serving? I've come up against this also while trying to input a burrito I made, and ended up estimating a lot of it.

Any ideas that could help?

Calorie Count Is anyone else disgusted with all the "LOSE WEIGHT QUICK!" ads on here? May 13 2009

What about the same type of ads in FITNESS mags??  I read those when I am on the elliptical at the gym because many of the articles are motivating.  But it's SO annoying when ever other page has some unhealthy weight-loss product on it!

Ooo... I'm out by 5 years!  How about if I feel like I'm still 35?  Well, I'm 40 but only trying to lose 25 pounds.  I've been looking for others in that situation, rather than the massive weight loss, and decided to check out this post.  So, if you decide to include a higher number (in years only!), let me know!

By the way, I don't love exercise, but when I do get to go to the gym, I love the after effect!

Good luck to you!

Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
