Yikes.  Our realtor just sent me a bunch of comps to look at.  Houses without major projects to do (like our fascia/soffits, furnace, and attic insulation) are going for what we want to sell ours for.  Crap.

Maybe we will end up renting this one out.  :(

She's only two months old!

her mouth is too small for teething rings and she's too young for medicine.  she won't let me rub her gum and won't suck on a washcloth.

Poor baby.  She is young to be teething, so it would be rare, but it can happen.  Do watch it though just in case it's thrush.

Are you using pacifiers with her, Pav?  If so, soak one in ice water for a while, well, two actually, and switch them out.  Used to help DD with the front teeth.

I've got two in the freezer right now.

*slumps in a corner crying*

I think Tess is teething.  She has been crying/screaming/fussing since 8:30 this morning and she has a little white bump on her top gum.

oh lord, she's awake again.  I thought she might finally sleep but I guess not.

Yesterday was so horrible that P bought me a little bottle of Hypnotique to try (it wasn't a cookie so fail on his part but he gets points for effort) but I forgot it was still in my purse.

So I have it.

Here.

At work.

With me.

Right now.

And a meeting with new boss at 11..............

Is it a mind altering drug?

Oh lord.  Tax dollars hard at work again.  The city scheduled the street sweepers to come through my street on trash day.  The trash carts get left in the road after being emptied. Hence the strret sweepers are basically riding down the middle of the road missing all the leaves and trash in the gutters.  Brilliant piece of planning.

Why are you fooling around in the back of your boyfriend's car at the age of 25 - don't one of you have an apartment?

And what are your beliefs about sex?  (Not your religion's but YOUR beliefs.)  And this religion of yours...it doesn't sound like you're too gung ho for it.

And how about your feelings for your boyfriend - do you have any?

This whole scenario sounds more like something I'd expect from a teenager with self-confidence issues.  Either you wanted to have sex but refused to admit it to yourself or you didn't want to have sex but didn't have to guts to stand up for yourself and put a limit on your sexual activities.  It also sounds like you're basing your sexual morality on a religious standard you either don't fully accept or don't fully understand.

Be an adult about this and own your beliefs and your choices.  It's not your boyfriend's job to make you feel better about compromising your standards.  And if he coerced you into it, then you're better off breaking up with him as opposed to waiting for him to grow a conscience.

I'm struggling to accept Matt Smith as The Doctor.  Is there a support group I can join?

I think D may have gotten me a smartphone for mother's day.  I'm not sure how I feel about that.

ETA: If he did, I hope he got the Samsung Galaxy...well actually I don't since those are really expensive.  But I sorta do 'cuz I totally don't want an iphone.

Smart?

Yeah...I think that's what they're called anyway.  I'm so out of touch with technology crap.

No, you silly, not the phone!

You feel smart, erm, maybe not then ;)

:D  Yeah, not feeling so smart these days.  Generally lucky to remember to wear pants when I leave the house.

Even if he did get you an iPhone, Pavvy, you might end up liking it.  :)  They're pretty fun, and very intuitive to use.

I have no doubt it's better than the LG slide phone I've been using for 3 years.  :)  I did love the Galaxy when I played with one at Costco though.
