I like when people repeated post to complain that people repeatedly post to complain about people repeatedly confusing lose and loose.

 how succinct :P

i just don't like when people bring up grammar period. how do you know if english isn't their first language? they're dislexic? they live out in the sticks and are homeschooled? heck they could have shaky hands and just accidentally hit the 'o' button twice who knows?

there's a thread on the my other forum where a lady asks about 'protien'.. her first response?

"protein is a word where i before e except after c doens't doesn't apply"

that made me angry :/ lol.

*uses eraser* :)

*cries because after all she said.. buggy still doesn't get her (then) silent cry for help*

you're early. The last one was two weeks ago. Come back again in another week!

EDIT: Amusingly, I don't think I've EVER seen one of these posts where the spelling and grammar is 100% correct. Which maybe just goes to show.

This site isn't very welcoming because of people like you!

I agree. you're an Ogre HK... AN OGREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! (but secretly covets you)

*bares teeth*

Clearly, Justagirl1, we haven't been properly introduced.

So, hello, my name is HK. I'm actually not that much of an ogre, though I can be incredibly sarcastic and even, dare I say it, irritable when a certain sort of post or response happens.

I've seen ALOT of posts like this one. As nomo said, she's bookmarked 34 of them. *34*. That's alot of people who get hung up over 'Lose' vs. 'Loose'. Not that it's not important, but not, I think, worth getting so hung up about that you have to publicly chastise everyone.

It seems, in my experience, this posts up once every three to four weeks. Hence my response.

I'm sorry if my response offended or bothered you. It was simply meant in fun.

*stores this in her memory to bombard HK with lose vs loose threads in the future if deadlines from others are not met in time*

Do you seriously have pink hair?

She does!

cool :) I've always wanted green or blue hair. Now I have a green wig ^_^

i once told my mom at 15 that i wanted either a tattoo for my birthday or to dye my hair green. she agreed to the tattoo.. why i asked her? she'd rather be seen with me in public with a covered tattoo than with green hair. tsk tsk mom.. you should love me no matter what hair i have :(... lol.

she did let me have a tattoo.. and to this day i hold true to our bargain.. i've had every other colour except green :) (sadly still my favorite colour of all)

Congrats on the job, rip! A Canadian-based company is probably better than a lot of these American ones!

Doubtful. The economic crisis has affected just about every country...

Congrats RCH.

I also believed the bit about the BJ getting you preggers.... that is.. until i thought about it.. in law class... and blurted out to my friend next to me "but your digestive track doesn't connect to your reproductive tract" which earned my name on the blackboard of useless shyte that students say for everyone to read.. next to my comment.

i'm pretty sure no one could wager what i was talking about now though :/ .. even though it was awkward to be questioned by my law teacher in front of 24 other students on the statements origins.

I know, right?  I enlisted the other folks at the call center (we had some down time), then I started thinking well, maybe the guy was over at their place with the girl's partner, the girl comes home, guy goes out the back door (or window, whatever) then the two gals start...stuff.  This was the point where my poor brain couldn't take anymore!!  It was just strange, because the girl was 100% sure she had not had any contact with a guy.  :/

my guess is that the pregnant lesbian did mess around with a guy, but was just a really good liar who didn't want her female partner to know she'd cheated.

eh. i believe sperm itself can live up to 5 days... less when exposed to crappy conditions (ie the belly button :D lol) ... i don't think it would take too long for the girl to "swallow" *tee hee*... but maybe she doens't regularly swallow and let some sit in there until said girlfriend came back :O ...

anyways.. that's dirty and the girlfriend should dump her anyways for bad mouth hygiene XD :)

it's not a myth... but for the longest time i thought you couldn't put the air conditioner in the car on because what they charge you was too high.. as in... sent you a bill in the mail for your car AC.

santa claus isn't a myth. he's a legend. there's a difference :P

OMG MRS. You're killing me smalls.  Why oh why would you post this thread to people that keep attacking your animal parenting skills?  This is a time I have to say...don't get mad at how people respond. think about it...

Anyways, My aunt and uncle had 2 ferrets.  They were so cute, but the only time they really liked to be held was when they had food to eat. They might be cute, but they suck as pets.  I don't understand how anyone can have pets whose emotions are not easily readable (reptiles, rodents, fish...). I need to know my pet is happy to see me.  But maybe that's just me being needy :)

yes it is :P lol. i got my rabbits.. and everyone says how emotionless they are... but let me tell you.. they know!! they KNOW!!! lol lol.

everytime i come home they hop all over to me and scamper into my good graces (alas.. it's looking for treats and probably not for ME lol).

to MMG- don't get a ferret. if you're so gung ho about never taking a pet to the vet because you've never "NEEDED" to (FYI- you did need to.. you just didn't.. and you're very lucky that bob got better).. and you're so stuck on the idea of getting another animal... get one you "know" won't ever need to go to the vet. like ANOTHER cat. i have owned animals that have never needed to go to the vet... i have one rabbit who has never needed to go.. and i just got one who has had to go 3 times in the last year.. and yes.. he may have died had i not taken him. but a FERRET?! they are KNOWN to cost thousands of dollars... not one hundred... not five hundred... but thousands... the longer they live.. the more they're going to cost to keep them in good health. I understand you want to save for the future cost of a pet... but what if he needs to go to the vet before you have the 3000$ saved up for (one of the surgeries for a ferret)?

i don't mean to be too snarky- but don't get something you can't afford. Not just you 'being poor,' but you in general...  i mean i don't think i can afford a ferret which is why i didn't get one.. and i work 44 hours a week at a decent paying job.

get a whole army of dwarf hamsters...  well no don't get that either. no animals. you already have a few.. love those ones first. if you're heart is set on it.. get the tattoo instead. or... visit your supposed "bestie" ... i mean.. if she really was your best friend.. you'd be all over saving up to visit her no?

just to let you know RCH- you may have a different experience... but i know when i worked at my timmies i LOVED it!! probably even better than my management "technician" position now (not at timmies lol). sure i got paid maybe 3 bucks less an hour.. but i'm telling you.. if i had the chance.. i would do it again.

so hopefully your experience will be just as good :) and congrats

I don't think you HAVE to charge a fee.

We took in a pregnant stray and gave away some of the puppies on craigslist.  It is HARD to find good homes that way, but worth it in my opinion.

We didn't charge a fee, even $20 didn't feel right to me.  But, I made sure they were good homes by interviewing and requiring two meetings.  The first meeting was at a neutral location.  Then, if I was comfortable with them I invited them to the house.  That way, I knew they were willing to put time and effort into it.

OP, if you want my list of interview questions, feel free to pm me!

I spent A LOT of time emailing back and forth with people who ended up being people I DID NOT want these puppies to go to.  People get really angry when you tell them you don't want to give them a free puppy and I got called A LOT of names.  Maybe I could have avoided that with a fee, but I really prefered that over charging a fee.

The people we found are really great people and we are planning puppy play dates soon.  They have been awesome keeping me updated and sending me cute photos.  I can rest a lot easier knowing they are well taken care of.

Speaking of which, we are starting the process again.  We decided we just can't keep 3 dogs.  So, anyone want a 12.5 week old puppy :)

I agree with charging a fee. i wanted to buy my cutie rabbit and opted to pay the fee... and when i got there they were kind of confused about it.. and said they only put a price on him because they didn't want ppl going and getting free rabbits to eat.

this is different for dogs obviously lol... which is why i still suggest a fee.. or do what randomv did... the extensive interview process lol.

we got a dud rabbit by the way :P so many medical problems and bad habits and not quite litter trained (and mentally slow).. but i love him so so much!!! lol

If I feel something specifically interesting or with a lot of pressure on one of my fingers, I need to feel it on all of them.  For example, if I touch a wall or something highly textured with one finger or one hand, I have to feel it with the other(s).  Or, if I shake someone's hand and they put extra pressure on some of my fingers, I have to squeeze the rest a bit to even things out.

That's really the only thing I can think of.  I have habbits, but habbits can be broken.  I have to have even fingers.

i do this too!!! but mines a bit extreme.. i can walk on a crack with my right foot and then my left has to as well.. or i'll go crazy.. if i walk on painted pavement(or tiles in the mall) it's the same thing.. even though it's just the colour that's changing and not really the texture it FEELS different to me. or if someone pokes my shoulder i can feel that poke for eons and it drives me batty so i get someone else to poke the other side. evens evens evens lol. and if i tap my own fingers in a series of way.. i have to do it with until it feels right.. it can go on for hours.

i also give ppl tones and "flavors" kotov. mine changes with writing and not avatars lol. there are some people out there that even have a different sex, just based on the way i read what they write lol. you were a bit of a snarky male before kotov ;) ... it's slowly changing the more i read from you though lol.

ummmm... if you give me a plate with meat, veggie and other side dish (potato/rice)... i put a little of each i my mouth and don't start chewing until it's all in there. however if i have food that's TOO "together" liek pizza pockets and spaghetti and sheppards pie, and chocolate bars (lol).. i seperate the ingredients and eat them :/

and for hotdog/hamburger buns.. if i take a bite and there's that little lip of bun that's always there after you bite. i peel it off and eat that bit by bit or i can't take another bite. lol.
