| I asked by dr. about these. She said that she recommends them for people that have bad eating habits....that it in her opinion they work as a "conditioning" tool. If you eat alot of fat then you get those awful side affects, like anal leakage....thus teaching the taker to not eat those foods, helping to change their diet. | |||

Lotion sounds like a great idea, I'll have to try that.
Another trick is exfoliating....before, after, and in between shaving. This helps to prevent ingrown hairs. |

This has been an interesting thread to read, and I have enjoyed it.
Spjesq, I have comments to make on point #4 you made on your last post regarding the Patriot Act..... I voted for Bush and this is a decision I have come to regret. Not because I am now a democrat, neither am I a republican...I vote based on whether their views match mine. In my opinion, Bush, his administration, and our congress has shamed our country with the Patriot Act. The right of trial by jury should be given to EVERYONE, whether a citizen or not, and in fact was what was intended by the original writers of the constitution. The reason I feel comfortable making this statement as "fact", is the Boston Massacre. The trials that followed with the British Soldiers (POW's) being charged with crimes and given a fair trial....this is what our country is about...Freedom and Liberty for everyone, not just those that happened to be born in this country. This is the historical event that shaped America and proved that this was a country that ruled by fairness and facts, not our tempers, religious beliefs, and feelings. The fact that the above has been taken away is shameful and opens us to ask, what has our government come to? In fact, I just read a story in the news this morning that the Supreme Court has overruled the right of the President to hold a legal civilian without charging him...."A federal appeals court ruled Monday that President Bush cannot indefinitely imprison a U.S. resident on suspicion alone, ordering the government either to charge Qatari national Ali Saleh Kahlah al-Marri with his alleged terrorist crimes in a civilian court or release him." Houston Chronicle Our government at work....checks and balances. |

I'm actually glad that this is getting some attention. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the little toothpick....she's a winey little brat. But, don't forget it was the sheriff's dept that let her out.....this is a perfect example of the incompetancy and corruptness of the criminal system. Forget that she is a celebrity for a minute (and how annoying she is) and think.....if this was me, or my daughter and they released me....then came to take me back because they decided they had made a mistake.... it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. |

I think you handled the situation the best you could.
This is college....but it doesn't become any easier in the work place, either :) I work in group projects all the time at work and this type of situation comes up frequently....it may be a pain in the a$$ right now, but this is really good experience for in the future....because it will always be a pain in the a$$, and the best you can do is learn how to handle yourself :) |

I want to make clear that I think she should have stayed there and never been allowed to leave, she deserved her original sentancing, however......
The fact that she left is on the Sheriff's dept shoulder's not hers. It's like punishing a child....you tell them that they have to stay in the corner for 10 minutes, let them go after 2....and then change your mind and make them go back for another 8! In the time they were out they didn't do anything else wrong. Is that right way to teach a child anything? It ends up being your bad, not the child's.... This shows how screwed up our system is! |

Wow..this is a horrible situation for those kids to be in. I certainly hope you guys get custody.....
I do have a question that was in my mind while reading this thread. This has obviously been awful for these children, living in that house.....so why did it take 4 years for you and your husband to decide to fight for custody? I'm not trying to make you mad or judge, since I obviously don't know the whole situation and am just a stranger on the internet....but for those kids to be in the home life you described for that long is not right. |
