Although I'm one of those people that others laugh at when I say I'm dieting, my problem isn't my weight exactly (I'm in a normal BMI range) but the fact that it was getting out of control.
I'd eat chocolate 3 times a day, after meals, have huge lunches, and my pants grew too tight. I also became injured so did little exercise. I suddenly could not fit into pants I had bought as they were too big (for comfort) and realised I needed a change. I also had problems sleeping and with energy.
I've only been doing this a few months, but its great. I was more in it for the nutrition than the weight, but the kilos are dropping off, so I'm glad. I love seeing my daily rating as an A. I'm addicted to finding out the best types of foods for nutrition
My only fear is that I may take it too far. Its becoming too easy to eat too little (<1000cals on some days) but then I'll spoil the next day with a little amount of unhealthy food. I'm beginning to think more about the weight than the health, so I'll have to watch out!
I just want to weigh the average size, rather than being "solid" as my father put it.
