My Weight Ticker

 

I am 45 year old retired man with a quite diverse background.

I have always been a go getter and not one to settle in one spot for too long.

I am retired from the Army and prior business owner.  I have worked in the housing market as well in the financial arena.  High Speed No Drag and always on the run was at one time a normal way of life.

I now have let that lifestyle catch up with me.  My health has gone south rapidly and I have to so something about it if I want to hang around on this planet a day or two.

My family keeps me going in more ways than one.  I am married to a wonderful lady and have three children ages 7, 15, and 23 so there is never a dull moment to say the least.

I finally was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.  On Jan. 14, 2007 and decided to make a change.  My weight had gotten completely out of hand. 

  • MY Lifestyle Change Start Date: 01/14/2007
  • My start Weight : 269 lbs.
  • My Goal Weight: 180 lbs.

I am working closely with my Doc during this process.  I see my doc at least once a week due to the chest pain I have to endure.  My ole ticker is not what it used to be.

My body is like a loaded Semi tractor and trailer running on a small 4 cyl. engine.  I am hoping that if I reduce the size of my body my heart will be in a better position to keep on ticking...

Supplements taken daily: (Reccomended by my Doctor)

  • 6 grams of fiber
  • 1 Multi-Vitamin
  • 50mg Zinc
  • 2000 mg Fish Oil
  • 1000 mg Vit. C
  • 2000 mg L-Arginine
  • 400 IU Vit E
  • 200 mcg Chromium Picolinate
