A bit about me…

Well...I’m female, from the UK and have had issues with my body since the time of the dinosaurs!!

Ha!

Seriously, I was a fat kid growing up – almost 127 when I was nine years old! Yep, I loved my junk food!

Lost the weight going through puberty and managed to maintain at 106-110 throughout my adolescent life. I put on a few pounds in my early twenties when I decided to take a year out and live large (and eat large!!) but I didn’t get any bigger than 114.

The turning point came for me when my family and I went abroad for my brothers wedding and I met some relatives who I hadn’t seen in 10 years. The very first words that came out of their mouths were “gosh you’ve gone fat!!” I couldn’t believe it!! They continued to ridicule me throughout the duration of my stay which left me in a fragile state.

When I got back I fell into a downward spiral of starving and binging losing a ton of weight and then gaining it alll back. I really hated myself back then – I had more or less hit rock bottom.

However, I am now back on track and have waved goodbye to my disordered days!

Although I have reached my goal and am now 106, I feel as though my body has not changed as much and I haven't seen the results which I anticipated and therefore I have revised my goal and set it at 105.
