I guess I am being a bad example, but I like the quinoa pasta that is available in the healthy foods section of our local grocery (Hy-Vee).  It takes a bit longer to cook, but it taste fantastic and you can use just about anything on it as it is very hardy grain.

Have you tried a site called "glutenfreeclub. (com)"...I was looking into recipes that were gluten free for our church potlucks.  A nice site.  Also the site "savvyvegetarian. (com)" has some gluten free recipes.  Good luck!Smile

I am a diabetic and I have been on CC since early February this year (2012).  My A1C has gone from 8.7 to 6.0 and I am looking towards remission.  My doctor is over joyed at the 58 pounds I have lost so far and my commitment to my exercise program.  I use the analysis (monthly) reports to show her my progress and I print out my exercise and weight logs every three months when I go for my follow-ups.  She is impressed by the program and says she may tell patients it is one of their options.  YAY!  Go team CC!Laughing

Please contact your doctor as soon as possible.  The meal you ate is very high in carbohydrates...please have your sugar tested.  The urge to drink can also be a warning sign of problems.  I am not a medical professional, please, i urge you to take this to one asap.

Dear teatoddy...as a person over 50, here is my granny opinion...people believe what they want to believe and you are not going to change their minds...getting in the middle of a fight is a good way to get punched by both parties...and if you out one and they make up YOU are the bad guy...
