I don't hate Americans! I am American.

I just subscribe to a different foreign policy philosophy that does not include us using our military for anything other than actual defense (or in some cases, when many other countries want to go in together to prevent a genocide somewhere, I would go along with that).

It was a joke Nomo. Frown

In other words, PG is gonna play a game and condone terrorism but not admit that she condones terrorism...while rosie is a hippie and likens my inability to understand why it's okay for American diplomats to be murdered yet Americans are horrible war mongors for dropping a bomb on said murderers.

So...thanks for standing up...and pointing out that YOU don't get it....go back to feeling superior please.

I certainly don't get you. Sometimes you're awesome, other times you're an idiot.

And I like hippies

Again, you're condoning the violent murder of Christians and Jews and saying it's their fault.  I don't object to you having the opinion, I'm just saying that if you're going to side with Muslim extremist terrorists because you hate Americans and other Christian westerners...just have the balls to say it rather than dance around it 15 times then say "suck it up".

Jaysus ccat! Enough already.

For all of you who got so upset when I said some of your countrymen don't get it, here's an example. How many more are there?

And yeah, I do feel superior to this nonsense. I'm pretty sure most of you do as well. He's like a toddler throwing a tantrum in front of the candy display.

In that other thread, I got the impression you liked 50 shades of grey better than hunger games, so I think you're beyond help.

You are so right --what a crappy read --erotica my ass. Like a cheap porno novel they used to sell by the bucket in Time's Square. I was really disappointed.

Alright....now I sorta want to read it.  I didn't before, but that kinda peaked my interest.

Yeah, 50 shades of grey is probably more your style than hunger games. You'd hate the protagonist in the hunger games.

he'd hate the "protagonist" from 50 shades, too. hell, i hate her and i only put up with her for a few pages.

...of course, he could imagine himself having angry, ball-gagged sex with her.

Nah, she's exactly the kind of girl he wants. Of course, I only got half way through the first book, so maybe she changes.

Are you watching tv? That might be the culprit. The commercials make you think of food, you don't eat because your wife is sitting there, when she goes to bed, the commercials win.

Normal 15 year old girls eat every day, eat more than 1000 calories per day, speak more than 1 complete sentence during a school day, interact with other people, have at least 1 friend, etc.  I feel for this girl, but she clearly needs more than a kick in the pants at this point.

Normal 15 year old girls are dramatic, emotional, prone to exaggeration, and needy. Maybe she doesn't need therapy. Maybe she needs to work some stuff out and she's posting to the lounge because this is a fun place to talk about yourself and get all kinds of advice.

And Huffington Post Canada, though the glaring headline irritates the crap out of me

no, i'm not.  i don't think being canadian makes me superior to americans.  i don't think it makes me superior to anyone.

I don't feel superior to Americans either. I'm not sure where that came from. All I said was I don't like some of their foreign policies, though apparently I was vague about it. I don't like some Canadian policy either.

A lot of people took it personally, which I always thought was a bad idea on a public forum.

I'll be honest, it wouldn't bother me if it was just PG that thought that Canadians were vastly superior to those of us in the USA but apparently most Canadians feel that way.  This pisses me off.

i know you're not including me in that group, but for the record, i don't think we're vastly superior.  am i glad i live in canada?  hell yes.  but i don't feel that i'm superiour because i do...

i didn't pick where i was born.  :P

ps - i do wish i had your beer prices though.

Why aren't you included? He's making a generalization about Canadians.

See, how does that feel?

Could you tell me which one of my posts you're talking about?

Why? Assuming the opinion of three Canadians, the whole country make, wouldn't that just make them as ignorant of the US as they believe the US is of the world?

But somehow, I don't think they speak for Canada.

Well, that's it. Us three Canadians get together every Sunday afternoon to talk about how much we hate Americans.
