Not proud to admit that, but oh well, there it is. If it is her faith, then good for her. I don't know why it struck me as an attention-getter situation. My first thought was something along the lines of, if you can have a smartphone, you can shave your face. I get they aren't comparable in any way, but that was my first reaction.

I made a ton of friends at the gym (these friends being people I actually talk to / hang out with outside of the place). We take a lot of the same group fitness classes and just got to talking. Then, thanks to facebook for being the ice breaker, started hanging out outside the gym :)
