| Weight Loss | Has anyone tried Dexatrim Max2O? | Jun 04 2008 11:27 (UTC) |

I'm just here because I tried a sample and wondered how other people faired. When I was younger, I was on a medicine called dexedrine (for the infamous ADHD), when I noticed I had NO appetitite. When I talked to my psychologist about it, she was saying how it's also an OTC weight loss drug called Dexatrim. Of course, there's a lot less medicine in it, so I don't know how well it works.
When I tried the H2O, I didn't care for it, just because I don't like fizzy drinks. It didn't suppress my appetitite much. I'm trying not to eat when I go home, so I had that and two big glasses of water. My will power made me not eat and the dexatrim made me potty often. I'm only two days in, so I guess I'll really see where it goes. It's on rollback at walmart for 10 bucks and there's a 3 dollar coupon on dexatrim.com, so I'm gonna buy two boxes and see how it goes. Some people say just buy green tea and drink that. It depends on if you're looking for a fat burner or just an appetitie surpressant. |

| Seriously, if I could tell you all the messed up stuff I've done, without knowing - besides flashbacks and friends-, while on Ambien. If only you could blame that on your sleep eating. :-D Maybe you should start taking it as an excuse to your sleep eating ;) | |||

| I like making a ham sandwich. Two slices of bread = 160 cals, plus five slices of deli ham = 70 calories, cover it in mustard = 0 calories. 230 Cals total. I guess you could just use one slice of bread and fold it over if you want to cut it by 80 cals. | |||

| These dance tapes seem like it's something only she is doing -by herself-. Even though I like DDR, I don't like to do it by myself. My suggestions are family things, like you had mentioned. When I was younger, I loved going to the skating arena! You could go skiing, play basketball, go play tag, etc. The other day I was waiting for a friend to get off work. I went to the playground by her house and I was amazed at how sore I was after playing on the stuff there! Don't let sitting in front of the TV all day be an option. I understand she's from two different households and she's going to be making her own choices at her mother's, but the influence you and your husband have on her could make her start asking her mom to go do those things or go out with friends. I applaud your concern and your willingness to help her. | |||
| Young Calorie Counters | What size are womens pants with a 28 inch waist? | Dec 17 2007 15:03 (UTC) |

| When I had a 28 inch waist I also had 39.5/40 inch hips, so that put me into a size 11. Which, of course I had to wear low rise or I'd have a huge gap at my waist. Now I'm up to 30.5 in the waist and 42 in the hips and I'm a 13. | |||

| Try using half the dry cat food, but mixing it with water. It'll plump up to be twice the size. Maybe the size will fill him more and he wont be so whiny. | |||

| I got a small sense of pride when I saw my name listed with this group. I'm the person who never joins anything just because I know when I give a commitment, I really give it. I didn't think I could make 6 weeks going binge free, mostly because of days like today. I had my serving of ice cream and my little voice said that's enough. So I replied that I can have my serving of doritos... but that wasn't enough. I just felt like I needed more. I walked back and forth from reading CC to the kitchen so many times I can't even remember. Each time telling myself no. About 20 minutes ago I finally decided to do some housework. I put the laundry in and I'm about to winterize my windows. Thank you guys for starting this group. I hope to continue keeping my commitment! | |||

| Good advice. I did put it in a special sundae cup. I think that's why I was disappointed. Didn't even reach the top! :-/ Should have gotten higher quality ice cream. See, still whining :( Sorry | |||

They could have simply changed formulas. If they started out with an initial product but had difficulty or a high cost to producing it they may change it to suit the company. Since HFCS is cheaper they may have changed it to include it for cost. You may have a previous 'batch' of product. But like everyone else says, it probably has quite a bit of sugar. Everything in moderation. |

What a necessary commitment before the halloween candy sales! I'm horrible with doritos and ice cream. I pledge to only eat one serving of each per day while staying within my daily calorie allowance. Count me in starting at midnight. Height: 5'8" Weight: 160 Goal: 150 |

| The same thing happened to me with chips! I can eat a bag of Doritos or Sun chips in one sitting. Yes, one. I had a serious binge and I've been done ever since. I ate so much it made me sick of them. Which I don't know how because I was going through four bags a week before that. Though I've replaced salt with sugar. I also myself a fudgsicle or smoothie bar, anything under 100 cal treat one a day. | |||

| I did this a short while back. Of course it worked, that is, as a colon cleanse. I used senna tea, as well. However, my metabolism seemed to stop. I had weighed 143 when I did it, went down to 138, but a couple/few weeks after the cleanse I was at 150. Now at 165, I'm not very happy. Though, if you have issues and a good reason to cleanse, I say do it. If you're doing it for weight loss, I'd toss this idea out. | |||
