I was told in 1994 thats I had Wilson's Disease. A rare but treatable liver disease. I fought it for many years. I had some really good years and a few bad ones. Like most fights, they came to an end. I went into liver failure sometime in late 2006. And like most things never caught it until it was too late. Feb. 2007 I got to take a vacation for a few months to Vanderbilt Hospital. There I waited for a liver. On 3/29/2008 my new life started. Received the gift of life from a donor. After two very bad surgeries and several months of healing and rehab, I returned home.
Now almost 2 years later I am healthy and ready to restart my life. I start back at WKU in the spring semester. Planning on doing what I am good at, Coaching: Plan on being a high school football coach. maybe even a history teacher.
College is going to great, Liver is working as good as it can be, life is enjoyable once more. would have been better if Jeff Fisher would have called me to be Defensive Coordinator
Made Dean's list for the first time ever. gtting ready for the next semester
