I've been working my way down to the weight I'd like to be for many years. I started doing low carb in March of 2001 at 220 pounds and got down to about 170 by the end of 2001. Then I just kind of hung out and the weight started creeping back on and I got to about 190 then got serious again and returned to 170 summer of 2006. Then I just hung out again until I started seeing a nutrionist Fall of 2007. I'm at 163 right now (beginning of June 2008) and this time I'm dedicated to seeing my goal through! I'm running 5Ks for the first time in my life! I'm training in the martial art of Aikido and love it. I'm doing it the right way by upping my exercise and eating less - I'm convinced that's the only way to do it!
