Your format was cute ;). Anyway, check out cutandjacked.com . . . and milliondollarbaby.com  cut and jacked has a lot of interviews, and information, and if I remember right milliondollarbaby is where I found a free e-book for beginners. (I am starting out too -over the last month or two) and am finally feeling like my head is above water.

I agree with a lot of others on here "couch to five k" or "c25k" . . . I am on week 2 day 3 and still so happy and excited to keep going. It's hard, but still doable!

I am not in a position to tell you whether to lose or gain or how much to set your calories at or anything; but to walk away from this thread in good conscious, I have to tell you:

1. Disorders aren't gone just because you've mastered them for the short term. (I know a lot about this) And just because it isn't ruling your life at the moment, doesn't mean that it isn't lurking, waiting for you not to pay attention.

2.There are ways to get help without your parents having to find out about your eating disorder . . . you can tell them that you are just really struggling and feel like you want someone to talk to about "stupid teenage stuff" and my guess is that they'll take you in without having to know.

3.If I was your mom (my kids are pretty small yet, but) I would want to know so I could learn how to not make the disorder worse. *now, I know not all parents are; well . . . I get it if you stand by not wanting to tell them, but. If they are good to you, and love you, let them help you.

4. You have a turbo pretty smile -just so'as you know. ;)

I used to have a pretty hard time, especially after working graveyard shift for 4-5 years off and on. lol now it's just the kids. Anyway I used time released Melatonin (you can find it at most vitamin stores) to help get me accustomed to sleeping nights. It's the natural chemical your body uses to put (and keep) you asleep, and doesn't have side effects like all the big pharma drugs out there. Once you switch your cicada rhythm you should be all right.

I am struggling as well, but have found that adding a really good multivitamin and an omega 3,6,9 supplement helps me not fall prey to the cravings so bad. They are still there, but more manageable. (Kinda like the patch for smokers). Also, the water and walking for sure!

You are wonderful for posting this! I feel very much the same way sometimes, and I am so grateful you posted. Hang in there, you are doing good. I only just started, and you are an inspiration to not give up.
