Me too, me too! Thank you again! I got my shirt Sat. and wore it too. Today I got the tote I ordered and will use it to carry my lunch to work tomorrow!! Woo hoo thanks guys!!!!!!

Hang in there ctrlmd! I have been having that exact same fear! I have been doing this for 7weeks and lost 14 pounds but fear boredom, which has been a problem in the past. But my thinking has been this is a lifestyle change not a diet. So what I really need to do is experiment and learn to cook new and different healthy things, especially if I want this to last a life time! So I need to invest some time in research for new recipes and nutrition! (which I am willing to us what others have found out already, hint hint! ) lol. This site has helped alot. Hang in there and read read read!

i hear ya karen I just got off the plateau too!!! I will tell you all I would have given up except for you all saying you hit them too and telling others to hang in there!!!! Thanks to all including those who run this great site!!!!!! Thanks guys for all your hard work! Got my T-shirt thanks for that too!!!!!!

Hi Jade, I hear ya!!!!! Up and down and up again. Over the last 6 mos. I have done a lot of soul searching and at 42 decided diets are not what I need but a life style change. I slowly started exercising more and adding fruits and veggies. I lost 8 lbs in 5 mo not keeping track of calories. Then over the holidays and a bum knee from a fall. I gained it back. Then on 1-9 I started here with the calories and am down 13 pounds! As of this morning I am below 250!!!!!! First time in 3 yrs. And if you read alot of other messages in here you will see it has been successful for others also. So HANG IN THERE!!!
I am still working on the mentality that I am learning to eat healthier for the long run and not to loose weight. I have learned to portion what I eat and make healthier choices. WE CAN DO THIS!!! You will find awesome support here. I don't post much but I come 2 or 3 times a day just to read the posts,when I can, and the support carries me through. Best wishes! Lorrie |

| Welcome webtrke, Ditto Elin. Hang in there it does get easier! I started by just adding fruits and veggies and it has just gotten better since. Oh and leaving out refined sugar and flour as much as possible. After my body got used to the better foods I lost that hungry all the time feeling. Keep us up to date. L | |||

Boy I sure relate. I had chocolate Sun, included in my calories and did the get up after going to bed thing with severe muchies. i spent the evening beating myself up! I have spent alot of time thinking about why and how I can have the arguements in my head. I am sure you all know them. They I know I shouldn't but I can't help myself battles. I am trying hard to explore how and why I do that?
My last two days have been miserable trying to stay on track and just wantint to eat any and everything in site. Hang in there natasha. Post that list on the refrig or where ever you will see it the most and I will do the same. I am trying to focus on the fact I want to be healthy yet still battling the gotta loss wgt thing. it ain't easy but you all sure help!!!! Thanks |
