3000-3500 calories is very typical amount during recovery.

You body wants its pounds back...and appreciates the fuel you're giving it :)

*still better off than lots of people, lol*

But to answer your question I don't believe in curses, and think of it this way, all your bad luck is happening at once. You're getting it over with, yay!

Here's something to think about, you have friends in real life, right? You're better off than lots of people in that case.

Alright, I'm gonna do my best to just move on from this situation and never talk to her again unless she approaches me first.

But, wow, does it irritate me to get rejected by a girl one day, and the next morning, I wake up, check my facebook, and there's a blown-up picture of her pretty face first thing on my newsfeed. I probably need to delete my facebook, but that's another story, if anyone wants to hear more about my facebook issues let me know and I'll open a new thread explaining everything.

I just wish I knew WHY I was rejected so I could avoid this happening again. Did I have any interactions with her that could be described as "extremely weird", for lack of a better phrase? Am I ugly? Am I socially awkward? I just don't get it...

'Kay, having a really difficult time with this due to facebook. For some reason, presumable because of all the chats I've had with her, her news always get bumped to the top and I am waking up every morning now seeing a beautiful new profile picture of her where I'm just stunned by her gorgeous looks and can't help but sneak a "You're very beautiful" comment in the box (whether or not she couldn't care less, I just can't resist)

The fact that I know I have a beautiful girl on the line that has the potential to trigger some major anxiety in me based on her actions is causing me distress. I've decided I want to determine once and for all what she truly thinks of me (which I understand may not be possible due to her keeping feelings to herself, but at least I can try right?)

Since due to the fact that I'm feeling completely and overly obsessed with her right now, I am more than likely not in the appropriate mindset for decision making regarding this young woman. I am going to ask for opinions once again.

In the last 24 hours: Asked her out in the morning, she will think about it. Texted her in the evening, no response. Just recently told her she was beautiful on facebook in a profile pic that totally blew up in my face the second I got on there.

Do I...

A) Avoid contact with her at all costs (no facebook interactions, no texting, nothing) until I see her in person (not for one more week), then ask the mighty question in private.

B) Keep on the low and simply say hi to her once a day by text, maybe comment on facebook occasionally, keep it at that.

C) Be a little more persistent and try to just "hang out at the mall" (or other casual location) even if I have to ask three or four times. I'm not sure if she deliberately ignores my texts or doesn't see them, which gives me the idea of texting 3-4 times in a day.

D) Remind her that she was thinking of dating me and bring that up in a conversation, attempt to get her to make up her mind.

E) *joke goes here*

F) Something entirely different from anything else I've posted. I can only think of so many things, you know.

G) Do whatever the hell you want, it's your life and you are waaaaaaaaay overthinking this.

Thank you for the advice everyone I'd decided to just be her friend and stay single until I find another girl who I'm attracted to.

Because she's really shy? I've known people who are really anxious when it comes to talking on the phone.

I just texted her that after saying hello.

I have a feeling I just ruined it for myself. I'm so frustrated. This relationship stuff makes absolutely no sense to me. Why can't it just be black and white?

So...yes or no question. Do I have a slim to none chance with this girl now? How badly did I screw up, be honest? And for the record, I know for a fact she is single I have heard her say it twice in conversation so she's definitely available.

We didn't end up talking by phone. She's only been willing to text me, and I know that because I'll send her a text, she'll reply, I'll immediately phone call after and she won't pick up. So I just texted her the question, without a tone of voice I can't tell if this was a brush off. What confuses me is how she calls me sexy...yet she is hesitant to go out with me. I'm really puzzled.

So, now the question is this: How long should I wait before I ask her out again? Or should I just not bother and only be her friend?

Asked her out (nowhere specific, just wanted to hear response), she said "Let me think about it."

Thanks for the warnings everyone I'll be more careful. Is there anyway to get gatorade in a large quantity (perhaps in powder form) at a cheap price? Perhaps the G2 version? I'm pretty strapped for cash and previously was getting 2 liters of soda from safeway for like 99 cents each so...a price compared to that would be great. Trying to quit soda though one of my many goals.

Thank you everyone for the feedback. It definitely helped me feel better. I also had no idea that hat didn't look good on me or that the picture was waaay to close making me look less attractive. I dug up a few pictures on facebook where I think I look better and would like to once again, get some honest feedback. I think my perceptions of what's attractive and what isn't are a bit off so that's mainly why I ask.

I have about 5 pictures here. Can anyone just rate each of them on a scale of 0-10 (5 being I am average looking)? I am asking this as a favor and a lesson on how different camera angles, distances, and facial expressions can make you more or less attractive. I appreciate it

When I'm eating a cereal that isn't sugary (ie. cherrios) instead of adding milk I add applesauce to sweeten it up. Everyone who sees me doing it thinks I'm weird, but it tastes pretty good. Plus a two cup bowl is only 220 calories.

It's essentially just empty calories. Nothing of nutritional value in there. Makes a darn good treat though.

Eggs. The gold standard among breakfast foods. 5g fat, 6g protein, and free of carbs if I'm not mistaken.

Plenty of things to do with eggs. If you love cheese you're in luck because cheese goes great with eggs. Simply hard boil them, fry them, scramble them, put them in an omelet and get creative, put in a sandwich with some cheese, poach 'em, put them on eggo waffles (see what I did there?)

List goes on and on. I rarely meet a person who says they hate eggs.
