Hallelujah Pam!!! I'd have to say my positive this week was staying on track and not losing focus (and of course losing some pounds!) :) Great post tamera! sorry, just now saw your post #350. As for the 1500 calories burned with exercise, trust me it's not the norm for me!! You don't even want to know how I burned them but I'll tell... :) I mowed the lawn (takes about an hour) and did some other yardwork, then my husband was doing some plumbing work and the genious that he is forgot to turn the MAIN water supply off. So anyway...needless to say, we had a flood that took about 2 hours to clean up. So there you go...not a fun way to burn calories but they were burned nonetheless! :) Here's Weds #'s snorman - WEDS 8/8 Points = 2.5 Calories Goal: 1500 Calories Consumed: 1846 (0 Point) Calories Burned: 362 (1 Points) Carbs: 56.9% (.5 Point) Protein: 14.6% (.5 Point) Fat: 28.4% (.5 Point) Thursday Calorie Goal: 1500 |

an hour after reading through the previous posts all I have to say is...Praise the Lord for this thread today! WOW!! I feel like I've been to a good church service. :) Very uplifting and encouraging... and Dances...I can pretty much guarantee you that we have all been where you're at today! It's oh so easy to "fall off the wagon" sometimes. Tomorrow is a new day! I'll say a prayer for you. |

I started late, so kind of guesstimated the first couple of days :) Spiritual Food- 2 days, 2 pts Excercise- 180 min, 12 pts Fruits/Veggies- 20 (1/2 cup) servings, 20 pts Skipping Dessert- 5 days, 5 pts Water- 224 oz, 28 pts Out in the Sun- 7 days, 7 pts Total number of points for this week: 74 Weight this week - 264 (lost 2 pounds) Thanks for doing this!!! |

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to stop in and say Hi tonight. It's been a stressful couple of days. (Plumbing problems) ahhh, the joys of home ownership! One of our pipes burst and made a terrible mess, damage to the walls, etc. Could have been worse though. Reminds me of one of my favorite Christian artists (was reading through the earlier threads) CASTING CROWNS..."I will praise you in this storm". It's definately been a "stormy" week and it's SO important for me to remember to Praise HIM in the storm. "I raise my hands and praise the God that gives and takes away." Stressful times is also when I turn to food for comfort and support (even though it's not very supportive!) I have NOT did that. I definately did feel like giving in but thought of CC and and all the wonderful supportive people here, and resisted! :) Anyway...hope all is well with everyone tonight. |

Thanks Pam. Can you point me in the right direction for the rules of this challenge? I never even thought about my measurments. I've just been so focused on just losing the weight! so anyway...got out the measuring tape tonight and here they are... Weight 266; Chest 52"; Waist 49"; Hips 47" oh and dances...no zzzzzzzzzzzzz's yet :) Of course I had to come back here 1 more time tonight! |

Hi everyone, I'm new here to the CCC group. Joining in on this thread after the suggestion from my new found CC friend Holly. Thanks Holly! :) I'm getting into the groove of all this diet and exercise stuff and am finding these boards EXTREMELY motivating and humorous :) so anyway...just wanted to introduce myself (snorman AKA...Sherry) I do have one quick question for all you experts - I cannot find bike riding on the list of activities. Surely it must already be there. Any suggestions for how to search for that? thanks!! |
